I think talking that accompanies an all-in, especially whining or pleading, is overwhelmingly a sign of strength. I still agree with others that you lose your poker license folding AA here most times.

I don't agree that it's close, and you should call. It could be a smirky AK, or a total bluff, or a set. But, it's like .0001% a set, in my humble estimation. A set would check-raise. Of course, the ones that wind-up on the internet are suck-outs, so I'm guessing this is one of the rare times you were beat though you made the right call.

But, bantering is a skill. Sometimes you'll make mistakes in your banter, but I'd throw a line back in his court, and see what he says. Be sure when you're bantering to get more than you give. It's near impossible not to give anything away if you're going to banter.
