I act like I'm a dead staring corpse at the table. Emotionless and expressionless. It comes from playing cards for over 40 years.

Practice being dead and emotionless. Breathing techniques will help you too.

When you have a monster you stop breathing and that causes your body and hands to torque out. Many players use beta blockers so their heart rate stays static.

Cover your sides of your neck too since your carotid artery is probably pulsing to the point of explosion lol...

Yea, just work on it. Remember everyone puts their pants on in the morning. Nothing to fear. Nervousness is tilt. You need to learn to control it.

Here's a tip. People that make speeches in front of large crowds use it. Pretend everyone at the table is bare ass naked.....nude.....you may not want to hold onto the visual too long considering what poker players look like but it may give you a good chuckle and may counteract your nervousness.

Pretend all the other players are NUDE.

Bet accordingly.

I have this too and notice it in a lot of other players, mostly new players.

Another thing that is almost exactly similar, but probably even more correct is their hearts pounding (seems hard to fake)
You can actually see their chests moving or see their veins popping.

I also have this when I'm bluffing, but not nearly as bad as when I have a hand I think is best and am value betting big.
Doesn't have to be a monster hand, if I have TPTK and think it's good, I'll have the shaking hands / pounding heart tell.
It's getting slightly better as I get used to playing, but it's gonne take a while to get used to it.
