If a guy wants an extended conversation about pizza toppings with a waitress during a big hand especially when seemingly large amounts of chips have just entered the pot, what would this usually indicate?

And vice versa, when a guy is hurriedly trying to get rid of the annoying so and so in a crucial decision, Whats this generally mean?

Obviously its somewhat villain dependent, I for example would not engage at all (other than maybe to say "not now woman!") with a waitress during a big hand no matter the circumstances, but I have seen others do it on many occasions.

Annoyingly I have never really taken a mental note, perhaps because the talker always folds or maybe because i am so engrossed in the giant pot I immediately forget.

Maybe this just comes under the umbrella of "purposefully distracting oneself" or something thoughts??

He's showing that he's not too worried about what's happening with the hand. Maybe because he has the nuts or wants to pretend to have the nuts or doesn't care too much about money or wants you to think he doesn't care too much about money.

On a related matter, a fat bloke who is involved in a hand whilst his dinner is going cold next to him is never bluffing

when it is my turn to act, i pretty much ignore any staff member. once i did act, i instantly turn over to the waiter /waitress. for i think it would be rude to Keep them waiting. the other Point is, most of the times when i am playing a Hand or a multiwaypot i am probably going to fold. so i dont want to wait until folded to deal with the staff.

but lets say i am in a multiwaypot. sitting in SB, checking on the flop and UTG Bets. if i would now not interact with the waitress (like i usual do) it pretty much means i am never going to fold, and probably going to raise.
