Hey guys,

a buddy and I are building a product to try to remove some barriers of entry for new players. We'd appreciate it a lot if you could take some time to fill this survey out. Tell us what changes you'd like to see in the poker world.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1xx2...requested=true

Best regards and glgl

From the questions, it sounds like you are trying to build Poker Atlas.

I filled out the survey but the questions got weird because I don’t play tournaments. You should add a mention to that in the OP if you can.

It's the right direction, but we have some other cool ideas as well

We'd like to add features for cash games as well, but I feel like that's more difficult to tackle. Do you have specific suggestions for cash game features? What are your biggest pain points there?

I hear you. As a Bostonian, right now it's about waiting for the Encore Everett ("Boston Harbor") to open. Through the boom and until now it's been about deciding whether I'll be physically able to drive two hours home from Foxwoods come 4am. I have friends who love poker but never left their folding table micro home games because they can't simply hop over to a casino regularly enough to get comfortable.

When Everett opens, it will be about realtime and accurate information so that I am not second-guessing my decision on the way over. People like me who live near a single obvious option are going to have different priorities than those who have more of a choice.

Being able to provide reliable and punctual information as a third party provider prob won't be very easy, as we ourselves will be dependent on information that is given to us, but we'll try to think about a system.

I know how hard it can be to find good tournament action close to you, especially if you don't have a lot of options to choose from.

Another interesting question would be. How much in advance would you like the schedule to be set and out there?
Think we will put that one in the survey as well.
