In the near future we will for sure hear success stories of "yeah i got started in poker through watching twitch, was watching dota but poker was interesting to me". for every one of these there will be countless guys who deposited 20-100$ and failed, not to mention ppl that end up being recs.
Moving up stakes has never been harder and probably less than 1% of guys who are trying to run it up now @ 2nl due to twich are going to be mid stakes crushers in 2-3 years.
We tend to underestimate the ease of playing for a living at decent limits because its second nature to us, but someone getting into the games now has everything going against them.

I'd really like to know how much money has been deposited on Pokerstars directly due to his stream, and then have you tell me how that's somehow bad for the game.
