PLO10 challenge to make 50BI on GGpoker.

So I started this challenge for myself around 2 months ago after I was getting crushed at PLO25 and had to step down as I lost motivation and needed to get my head right. I got the 50BI a couple of days ago and want to share how it went. Next I will start the same challenge for PLO25 to make 50BI. I made a similar thread a few years ago and it was fun and motivating to update my progress which ultimately failed that time.
So the challenge I set for myself was to win 50BI and PLO10 on GGpoker and it took about 2 months, both months were net losses from playing and what kept it going up was the different GGpoker rakeback programs.
I got 5x bad beat bonuses from being on the table they happened on and I made about 24BI from that.
Roughly 40BI back from the flips counting from the first of March to end of April.
Roughly 43BI back from the leaderboard
About 8BI back from the fish buffet, one from being a 40 dollar spin on the gold crab and the other one 10% from what I think was 30k points from the bronze octopus.
I also got a 150 rakeback outside of GG through my affiliate that I'm not counting into the challenge to make 50BI, and that was for the first month, second month (April) I played a lot more so I'm hoping to get another 200 from that, will see in a few days so cant say atm while writing this. But the GG PVI system might screw me over and I make a lot less.
So a total of 132BI rakeback at PLO10 through different programs in 2 months of playing, and since I'm up 53BI from that time I did a net loss of 70BI. I lost a about 10 BI at the rush and cash tables which are not registered in the stats to. Here is a little graph of how it all looked. For the majority of the time I played 12 tables, and unfortunately GG just changed so you can only do 9 tables per stake your playing. I don't know how I'm gonna proceed if with 9 tables or still go for 12 with playing different stakes.
I don't know how I'm gonna proceed with the PLO25 challenge to as you can see from the picture I lost quite a lot, and the good thing about PLO10 you get a lot back from the flip etc so as a net loser you can still make money as you work on your game. So for that reason when I start the PLO25 I will jump down fairly quickly if it start poorly so I don't dig myself a big whole. I don't know how lower stakes tables look but personally I think PLO10 on GG is a great place to start for people who understands the game of PLO fairly well but still need to work a lot on their game if they want to become profitable. Just because you get a lot of it back through rakeback if you are a slight loser bb/100. There is a fair amount of regs there mixed with all the recs so there is some fighting going on at the tables and you will have to think and deal with that. Run it twice and cash out function is also a way to reduce variance, but cash out function has a fee to it and I almost only use it in 300+bb pots these days. But when I started playing on GG and playing PLO25 I did not know it was a fee so I was spamming that button, and one month I ran 40BI under EV with out knowing it as I was +10 as I kept spamming the cash out like a junkie. It was not until the month after I realized as I had to download my hh because I thought my rakeback through my affiliate was wrong, but that's when I learnt your rakeback from GG can vary on your PVI. and I think my rakeback got lost because I won with quad QQ over quad 5s to trigger a bad beat. So I got a bad beat bonus instead of rakeback or something. Was fun to see to as I had no idea I was running bad, but 40 under EV would have hurt if I had not used the cash out button, but now when I know there is a fee to it I don't use it unless its those 300+bb pots.
Think I'm gonna call it here, Will see when I start the PLO25 challenge, but when I do I'm gonna go with more of a blog approach and update frequently and depending on how it goes there might be a fair amount of PLO10 content there as ill battle.
