Hey everyone,

Last year, I hung up my hat from playing NLHE cash games full-time, took a few months to learn video editing & motion graphics design, and recently launched this YouTube channel showing how one can build a bankroll from $50 to $10K.

Until now, the only people who have viewed my videos so far have been friends and family (who have very limited knowledge of poker).

Looking for any feedback for how I can improve and/or expand to a wider audience of poker enthusiasts.

Here is the video of my first live session: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=va88...ittingtheApple

Questions for you guys:
  • Do you think the content I am showcasing is over the heads of most people on 2+2?
  • Should I cut theory/poker math videos INTO each live session video, or make a separate video?
  • **For those of you who are new to HUDs**: Is this intro to HUDs too much? Is it easy to follow?
  • I've been told that this video of 1hr 20ish mins is too long. However, I feel that 100 hands is just right for a "typical" session. Should I only discuss hands where I am VPIPing preflop?

Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Rofl no. Just clicked and it jumped to seven minutes something and it's so painful to listen when you know the rules of the game. This is more for people who have never played cards not to 2+2 forums lol.

For the length of the video. This ain't 2010 anymore and you are not doing videos for deuces cracked. Playing one table is pretty bad idea.

RIP Deuces Cracked. I still have a bunch of their old vids saved on a hard drive somewhere in storage.

The length of the video is certainly long. My thought process was that if someone like Lukas Greenwood can drive views with a super dry, 1hr+ long video on RunItOnce, there’s still a market out there for long-form videos for the super poker nerds out there.

I’m just honestly not sure what is more palatable at this point: vids that cover the fundamentals, or vids that assume the fundamentals but dive deep into the theory.
