I've been mostly out of the poker scene for the past 10+ years, but back around 2008, I did play for a living for a year between jobs & was a winning player at the time. After discovering poker vlogs & learning there are card houses near me in Texas, it gave me the itch to get back into the game & to start my own poker vlog as well.
With that, I started playing $1/2 NLHE along with PLO bomb pots that run pretty frequently where I play. I've only published 4 videos so far, but I'm looking to keep getting more out as I continue to work on my game and the quality of my videos.
I'd love to hear what you think, good or bad. Thanks for taking a look.
I've watched two of your videos and I'm confused about the variant you're playing where there are two community boards and you're holding 4 cards? What is that variant called and are you allowed to mix/match your 4 hole cards or do 2 belong to each board?

Yup, this is exactly right. It's a game of PLO, and it's a bomb pot played on a double board. Bomb pot just means that we all pay a certain amount of money to play (in this case, $5), and we all skip the preflop action & go straight to the flop. These hands are pretty much always guaranteed to have a ton of action because:
Half the people aren't well versed in Omaha / PLO & overvalue hands,
Everyone gets to see a flop, which gets people sucked in, and
The double board results in people sometimes just playing for one of the boards (with speculative hands), when ideally you should only play the nuts on one board or strong hands on both boards
I've been considering other types of intros for my videos vs. just talking to the camera. When you watch poker vlogs, are you interesting in seeing the venue where the session takes place?
I toyed with that idea with a newly relocated venue in my most recent video, I'm curious to see what you all think.
