I swear when these guys aren't on there's only about 500-1k people watching poker. maybe a little more when the other people in Staples poker house are on...

Take away the ESL's and these two dudes are like top 6 overall on twitch. Very impressive!
This has been the case for a while.

There are two heavy hitters viewer wise, with Jason clearly in front most of the time, with aspirant streamers starting and failing along the way. Jaime to s exhausted and is taking a break, probably can't and won't need to stream as much next year.

There will be gaps created for supporting streams and they need to succeed in my opinion for poker to have really fracked it on twitch.

from a downswing to a 22k us dollars score... wow!

grats man

also, someone bought 30% of his sunday warm up which is pretty sick, $6600 USD gain right there

Grats on the big score, Jaime. I really enjoyed the stream and thought you played really well. Loved how you played the big stack at the FT...just too bad you didn't make hands when you really needed to.

A couple of spots stood out to me that I thought maybe you could have played differently. It's really easy for me to criticize given that I saw the results and other player's hole cards so take this with a grain of salt but...

1. The AQ hand in the SB when the button who was really short jammed and you just flatted with ~40BB (I think). You talked about flatting and jamming but didn't mention putting in a smaller raise to push out the BB. Do you think this would have been a better decision or am I just being results-oriented?

2. The sixes shove at the FT over Festivuss' min open off a 10BB stack. I'd seen him open-shove in similar spots a few times so, to me, the smaller raise just looked like a trap. I tried yelling "FOLD!" at my monitor but you didn't seem to hear me What are your thoughts on this hand?

Again, not trying to be a hater...I thought you played really well overall and congrats again on the score.

Thanks all,

@jay

1. Jamming was to much (like 40BB) so it was more of how could I get more value with my AQ. Getting them to call an ISO raise or flatting the 3BB shove. I decided on the 3BB flat to allow them into the pot which is a pretty big success I think considering I had them dominated. I also somehow didn't go broke haha.

2. 66 Is definetly the most interesting hand from the whole thing but I think it;s a shove still. I talked with a lot of good players last night who were suprised to see QQ and I was a little too. Their range in that spot is at most QQ+ because of the ICM pressure. So we need with pot odds around 14 combos of raise/folds to make it the best play and I think we have to have it. Especially with our opponent raise folding 13 BB a few times. 10BB is different yes but just one combo (pick any hand) has 16 combos so if they ever do it, we are good to shove.

edit: Highlights of the whole run are going up on youtube starting with part one tonight. Two parts a day.

Think someone had like 22% and then a few people with like 1 or 2%. I know he had 70 for himself.

congrats on the score!

Jaime makes a great anti-salt comeback on stream.

Folks in chat giving him a hard time during one of his deep runs and
hes like "Hey I know what Im doing"

then instead of getting mad says this

"Just sit back, relax and enjoy my poor play"

HAHAHAHA

Agreed. Stream has been solid since the Sunday 20k win.

Lol surprised he took today off tho... Really was starting to build his momentum back up, had 2500 viewers early today then pulled the plug after 2 hours and decided only to stream if he runs deep.

?? I have mad respect for PokerJaime

He is very worthy of the adulation of the thousands of life winners who tune into the stream of one of the most talente mtt regs going around.

Every time Jaime goes deep I learn very interesting things about ICM and all the creative ways one can use their built-up equity.

I once heard an elite mtt reg call Jaime an ICM arsonist and that must be because he's ON FIIIIIRE
12-22-2015 , 04:19 PM
Jamie,

When are you going to be streaming full time again?
12-22-2015 , 06:43 PM
