Sounds like an odd story to me. My parents travel a lot, and I doubt they'd find a vid of a car trip worth watching when there's so many other videos available that better fit their lifestyle.
Really? Try and find another video about Pence or Sintaluta. Actually, I'm sure that there are some, but the point is I would not have ever heard of those places until Jaime drove through them. (I'm not even sure whether he had heard of them before.) My wife and I enjoyed vicariously traveling across the Trans-Canada Hwy with Jaime and discovering these small towns as he did. We would then Google them and see what other info we could find out about them. We even got a kick out of the fact that when we went to the Sintaluta wiki page, there was a picture of the exact farmhouse/barn with the name of the town written on it that Jaime stopped at. In fact, that's how he learned what town he was in.

If you find Jaime's vlogs interesting, you should be honest about what it is that makes them interesting to you, so he knows what's working.
Well, as a point of fact, now that he's settled in Montreal, I'm not finding the vlogs as interesting (and my wife isn't watching them at all). My problem with the vlogs is that Jamie has a habit of telling his viewers what he's going to do that day, turning off the camera, and then signing back on after the day is over and providing a recap of what transpired. I find it much more interesting when vloggers take you on the experience with them and you're there in real time. He does some of this when he goes out to dinner or otherwise exploring Montreal during evening walks, but other than that, the vlogs are him sitting on his bed performing recaps.
I'm not sure that I'm going to keep watching; as I explained to another poster, I had not heard of him before and came across this thread just as he was undertaking his move. I'm not really interested in watching poker streaming or listening to Jaime discuss his streaming on his daily vlogs (although I started to watch some of Doug Polk's just because I find the $100 to $10k challenge interesting). But I think he's a nice guy and I wish him well in all of his pursuits. I just don't understand the animosity he's garnered from some of the people here.
