I've known Jaime on this and other forums for a good while and he seems really helpful and knowledgeable about poker. I am really pleased PokerStars picked him up. I have watched a few hours of his stream, I learnt a bit about the game, and was entertained. I'm glad he does twitch.
Playing MTTs is a tough life, I've often thought it is a bit like being a Rocky Balboa boxer. You shuffle into the ring and then somebody beats the crap out of you for a while. Your hope is that you can stay standing long enough to take something home and that maybe in time you'll get so punch drunk you'll stop noticing the bad beats. Jaime has adapted well to the toughness of the game and found ways to soften some of the hard blows - I'm sure he will continue to adapt and do well.
My advice would be to support the good people knocking around in poker, support the streamers, it's probably a lot harder to do than it looks.
And here's some advice from Rocky:
Quote:
But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!”
I am looking forward to watching a lot of stuff from Jaime, Doug, Tonkaaa, EasyWithAces ... and many, many, more streamers. Gl to all of them.
