Besides the poker, guess felt drawn in by the fact that our Dads do the same thing - and so Jaime's home life felt so familiar ... in the Canadian suburbs with the computer set up in the basement, along with the tv and the couch, and the Home Depot wall unit ... also there was the bro in the Jays hat coming in and out of the room with the Tim Horton's, and Mom upstairs making spaghetti for dinner ... so cozy!
Jaime's PS sponsorship would be so great if things were different with poker - like if poker was growing steadily in popularity, and PS was doing well ... guess all Jaime would have to do get people interested in poker is play on stream. And then the sign ups would probably happen on their own?
Instead poker's contracting, and PS is so heavily in debt they can't seem to stop themselves from ruining the games even further. So Jaime's left trying to compete with one of the top players in the world for viewers, and is maybe spending time and money on a youtube stream, instead of just poker?
The money and freedom that come with a PS sponsorship must be nice - but being assigned with the responsibility of trying to grow poker seems like an impossible task ... that must be super frustrating?
Would it maybe help bring peace of mind for Jaime to do stuff like consider other businesses that might be possible in the future? Maybe to stay hopeful that life surely has lots of interesting adventures in store?
GL Jaime!
