if it's on ignition, all players are random anyways so the edge you gained is much smaller than if you knew whose names go with their respective cards.

This Friday stream is pretty brutal. 5 handed, Garrett and someone named YohViral sitting with $300K playing 3 amateurs playing like 35 BB stacks.

I think the whales intellectually understand it’s an uneven match, but I think they don’t realize just how much their disadvantage is magnified by Hustler’s super deep stack format*. They might win on some nights, but after a larger sample, the spots confirm they’re just there to be eaten alive and think better of it. That’s why the non-pro players that play once on Friday just to cross something off their bucket list are doing it right.

So if your “friend” Nick or Ryan invites you to this game and you’re not a pro, they’re looking for a spot so that the pros are willing to sit. If I were a pro, I’d only want to sit at a table with Andy, Garrett, and Gal (clearly a tough as nails table with a profitable TAG, LAG, and Maniac) if there are clear targets for me too. If I were a spot, I would/could only tolerate so much losing before I stopped.

The show will only continue for as long as they can find spots because otherwise there a better games for the pros to sit at WITHOUT revealing their tendencies. Let’s see how long Wesley lasts. I don’t watch every stream anymore, but the ones I’ve caught he’s usually down $20-40k.

* Mason Malmuth was saying this about regular card rooms too - that the deeper max buy-ins (150+ BB) are bleeding the fish faster than otherwise, and thus drying up the profits for everyone.

Wesley is supposedly had over 20M+ in coins--including buying 11M in BTC supposedly last week. He could be around awhile if he doesn't mind losing.

The table talk some of these streams is a real tough scene some nights. Like I don’t wanna hear half the table dissect Russia/Ukraine, Trump… F*%# Biden! Middle East gas, inner city schools, etc.

Strange and unique personalities make for a good stream. When the game gets generic, and the lineups get boring, you realize you're just watching other people play poker and tune out. News stuff devolves into a current events podcast, and only a few of the people on the show are actually funny so it turns into the reddit comment section too quickly.

No offense to Barry he seems like a good guy but he just forced a player to give the female host a $50 tip because Barry likes her.... literally in a stream last week he got the table to put money in and give the same woman a $1600 tip for her birthday, she literally cringe smiled and gave a half hug and walked off... why are we watching a simp give away money to some random host over the dealers who I have never seen compensated as such? And why is Barry asking other players to contribute to his simping? Then again this is the same guy who on stream asked a waitress to "jump up and down" while she was wearing a cut off shirt, dude is down bad!

Wow, ok I didn't see all of this. But I did find that $1,800 cash tip for that girl on her birthday to be a bit unusual; but now I guess there is a bit of a back story to it. Thida is her name I believe? I could not tell how hot she was because she had a mask on last week. Btw, do you have a time stamp for that incident? It would be interesting to see that play out.

I have also wondered why the massage girls are not hotter. I rememring seeing a porn star, Isis Taylor as a massage girl for the WSOP main event when I was watching an episode a few years ago. It was cool to see. I think some hot women as massage girls would help the stream out, seeing how Poker Bunny seems to draw so much attention.

Watching for 5 minutes tonight when a waitress comes in, Barry proceeds to ask her if "she has a douche" so he can give it to the player in the seat next to him, very funny right? Awkward laugh from waitress, he then tells the table he is going to "buy them" their drinks and that in return they HAVE to tip the waitress over $10, one player immediately throws over $30 and Barry says is that over $10? I just can't with this cringe simping stream man they zoom out and in on the waitresses with low cut shirts and creep follow Poker bunny when she is on stream, the Poker community can't be down this bad, please go get laid and get back to playing/broadcasting poker not whatever this is.

To me this was blatant and wrong and can’t be excused away because “she’s new”or “she gets nervous because she has anxiety” and “she’s young and she’ll learn” like you and DGAF were saying live. You don’t get a pass in a 60K pot because of that. She quickly flipped her cards over and shot Ben a glance like “got you”. I liked last night's short deck stream. I know that the non-NL hold'em streams sometimes do worse in viewership, but it is fun watching something like that once per month or so. I thought the players were having a really good time despite the fact that I had no idea what they were saying and it made for a good atmosphere. The VPIPs all over 40 due to the ante/stack structure is fun every now and then.

Barry does the whole look at me tipping thing, very cringe.
Multiple times he’s been like “is that it man… $10?” In pots. Makes sure people know he tipped $100…

some of you guys making the stream seem gloooom and doom I just started semi regularly watching (not much but still) and enjoy the table banter from the high roller bigger stakes game and enjoyed dylan when he played with them chatting them up.

while some of you bring good points about people brining 30BB to a deep stack table and there can only be so much spots until they're gone, I think some of the earlier events of the year and last year with dwan were interesting tables imo.

i would love to see one day week where they play mixed events etc but I guess the population isn't there. hope they bring in those big games aagin that they had in dec

It is not a wise move by PB to play in that game.

That said, a substantial portion of the viewers tune in to look at Poker Bunny, the viewer numbers bear that out.

If it was announced before each show that PB (or any other eye candy) was not gonna be there, viewership would drop considerably.

Watching Garrett bully shorts stacks and scared money into folding gets old after awhile.

The temper tantrums are cringe no matter who it is. Turned off the matasow stream for the same reason. I will also turn off the Hellmuth one as well if it starts down that road.

I play online poker every day and have for the past 200 days straight. I don't always watch the stream in the background, as I try to focus on playing. But today, with Garrett commentating I had to check it out. It was great hearing GMan commentating for the first time. I saw Garrett on Survivor when he was on that show, but otherwise I have only really seen Garrett on the Hustler stream for the past couple of months. It was cool to learn more about his background as well as his take on the the whole situation with Dylan recently.

A few things to comment on today:

-I thought that guy Sammy lying to Ronnie about what he was holding after he got Ronnie to lay down trip Tens was pretty stupid while on stream. If they weren't on stream it would be fine, but doing it while on stream, where Ronnie is going to find out you were lying, doesn't make much sense and he's just going to come off as a liar. Maybe he is just a habitual liar, who knows.

-It was cool hearing about Garrett's battle with mental health issues and his openness about it. I've dealt with issues myself for my entire life, although I can thankfully say it isn't extremely debilitating. My sister has dealt with more serious issues herself. Just having other people speak on their battles, and the solutions that they have found, is really cool to hear as alot of the time I have kept those types of struggles to myself. Alot of that can be attributed to the lack of trust and understanding of people around me as well as not wanting to burden people.

-DGAF's comment about "practising avoidance" after the Prahlad Friedman story was pretty hilarious. I still remember his rap song from back in the day.

-Great job calling out the sexism in chat. Too many guys on the internet are creeps who don't know how to interact or communicate with women in real life, and can even be resentful towards them.
