I don't like the dude and he has me blocked on his twitter .
Let me get something of my chest that's been bothering me for a long time . I used to be a 5-5 / 5-10 poker reg at the bicycle casino pre-covid and as far as i remember Ryan used to play 5/5 or 5/10 the most that he used to do 5-10k buys the most .
Has HCL show really generated billion dollar revenue for him to play in high stake games min buy 100k deep now a days and he make those wild plays ? Don't get me wrong my rants are not coming cause of jealousy not at all . It's just amazing why no body has questioned this dude how did he upped his game this fast ?
I know you didn't like the other response above because a lack of respect. But in all honesty your tone and some of your points seem like a young clueless teenager wrote them. With that being said:
I can see your point about Ryan playing in those huge games. It's been discussed before. One of the reasons your post is so silly is being amazed nobody questioned it when it has been. I wonder myself. HCL has the #1 stream and is very successful. But..even if they make say $5 million profit each year and him and Nick split it 50/50 and take home $1.5mil each year.. Can you really afford to drop a couple hundred thousand with no sweat like Ryan has done?
Maybe he makes a lot more then that from the stream legitimately. Maybe there is some shady stuff under the table. Doesn't have to be cheating, maybe just kickbacks, etc for getting pros in certain games, who knows.
-just because he is playing 100x bigger, doesn't mean he stepped up his game, just means he is rich now!
-you don't have to make a billion dollars to play in these games!
Regarding DGAF....
Going to miss him, thought he was funny commentating. Doesn't have to be a big contraversy for him to quit. HCL is Ryan and Nick are the main guys and the ones getting rich. It seems from all I've seen and heard they treat their people well. While DGAF was probably one of the highest paid HCL people he as probably on salary and not going a % or profits and not getting rich. Being as popular as he is and knowing as much as he knows he wants to give his own project a shot instead of being capped at HCL. That happens in a lot of businesses. The top talent runs into a ceiling with their employer and start their own business, often in the same field. Doesn't mean there is any animosity.
DGAF is taking a shot. I wish him luck.
