I didnt actually see the whole video and missed the end of the interaction. Garrett saying "your good" and waiting for Charles to show before mucking is completely standard, but once Charles doesn't show, Garrett should have just turned his hand over and ended it instead of the instigating the dance with his "just say you want to see my hand" and "im going to see yours regardless" comments.

I agree with the various posters ITT that say, show your hand or muck.

What Garrett did comes across as petulant.

In a non streamed game, and/or by someone who isn't bothered about reputational damage, I would say it's a definite angle because
it could induce the opponent with the winning hand to surrender their winning cards into the muck thinking that they are guaranteed the pot,
and then the angler to proudly show their hand and then say, "well obviously as it turns out, my ace high was good, so I win".

The pot's then pushed to them, the floor is called, cards maybe are tried to be retrieved from the muck and the whole situation is a mess,
and usually results in the angler keeping the whole pot.

I think it's highly unlikely that this was the reason that Garrett acted the way he did, because had Charles mucked and the pot
been awarded to Garrett, Garrett would have got it big time in the neck from the whole poker community and there would have been calls
for him to be banned from live streamed games etc.

So just petulance IMO, but still out of order and uncalled for behaviour.

When you are the only one allowed to play like that on a daily or risk being cut out of the lineup it seems like stealing. Sort of like the real estate scheme.

Nick is now trying to normalize the angle shooting by saying "You're good" at every opportunity.

Linglin wasn't impressed.

Obviously Nick & Feldman have had a talk to all the commentators.

How quickly it was mentioned that it was good "etiquette" to say "You're good".

It's kind of greasy that Nick had all that time to sit there in the tank and he still chose to disrepct the integrity of the game, Linglin and the audience.

It's like the "You're good" crew get rekt by their opponents in hands and there last little needle jab that they have is to angle shoot you with the "You're good" while still holding their hand and not mucking.

And then proselytise about how good their ethics and etiquette are...
"ohh no, I would never say "You're good" there if I had a 9 dear Whatson"

Garrett needs to give that 150k back to Robbi.

Hustler is just a greasy & slimey game full of characters with questionable ethics...

Imagine being a pro and running off to have a cry to Ryan because a recreational player just beat you in a hand.

You think Garrett is going to muck the winner 22 after saying "You win" ???

No way!
Of course Garrett is going to turn over 22 out of turn and try to win the $55000 pot.

Garrett is holding the cards and not mucking them in case of this exact scenario.

That my friend is an angle.

==================

And in Nick's fantasy etiquette land it's proper etiquette for;

The loser Garrett not to have to turn over and reveal an ace high bluff.

But not proper etiquette for the winner to also want to conceal his ace high call.

Because etiquette though...

Etiquette which "Charles (and Wesley) just don't get"

Watch the show...

Nick just blasts Charles and Wesley non stop for what seemed like an eternity even though the chat is telling Nick that he's wrong.
Spot On... Definitely an angle by Gman.

What happens if Charles flips over A2 or A4. Garrett scoops.

Nick Shut the F! up, you have no idea.

Well played Charles.

100% show or muck. You dont get to wait and hold onto your hand after getting called. **** that.

The bad etiquette is asking to see the losing hand in reverse, IE if you valuebet river, get called, and then ask to see the losing hand that called you. THAT is bad etiquette.

I can only assume Nick literally just doesnt understand the difference between those two scenarios

This is Garrett being nice and a decimal wrong, and Charles being a decimal wrong.

Garrett tells him he have nothing. Now if you don't wan't to give out information most people would've just mucked their hand. But Garrett being a nice guy asks if he wants to see it. Charles says no, everything is fine. But Charles interpreted this as Garrett folding no matter what, which wasn't really what happened, so that he didn't had to show his own hand. Still fine, just a misunderstanding. Garrett points it out and also immediately turns over his own hand since he realised there was a misunderstanding.

Noone is doing anything out of the ordinary. If you think this is angle shooting then you should just quit live poker. How this can turn into accusations and gossip is just silly. It's a sad thing that threads nowadays is so heavily weighted towards cancel culture.

@JJSyd why didn't you start a thread pointing this out, giving your opinion and asking for others, the way a forum is supposed to be? Why do you write a post about "filthy casuals" not understanding what this is. God damn how hard can it be. We're talking about a showdown where both hands was shown. You're really part of the problem, there isn't any good poker forums out there anymore.
