Doug would be getting so high on his own supply right now if he had out outplayed and outlasted DN after all that clowning. That **** would be insufferable. DN's crossroads deal still in effect.

What do you mean by getting high?

Almost the exact same thing happened at the One Drop last summer, which he went on to win. I think it was just a lot of drinking afterward.

I don't mean drugs, he doesn't seem like the type. I mean that he'd be pretty happy with himself.

Right, but he did the same thing last year at the one drop he won.

I'm imagining Doug going to the theaters to go and watch that "Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri" movie, with suddenly light bulbs going off.

The original idea was to get some kind of sign inside the WSOP, but their demands were outrageous and they'd probably deny it anyway. This worked out much better.

Obviously dn thinks more rake is better he works for stars and they pay him
He doesnt even play there.
It would be terrible for him if they cut rake. they would probably cut his salary as well

Doug and srslysirius should team up with floyd , if he will promote some random play money app maybe he will promote rake being better?

I like Doug but it kind of seems like he is rage quitting.

Busts out on day 1 of SHR then comes and says he won't be playing much of any poker at all lately?

Oh well, even his crypto content has slowed down

While I love a good joke and Most of Doug's sarcasm - don't you think by continually telling casual players and amatures that "more rake is better" they may actually believe this to be true?

Obviously more rake is BAD for the game of poker but most people are sheep and if they get confused and the joke goes over their head they may start to think rake is actually good

@SrslySirius

In Dneg's day 2 blog he is in the pool with a net. Can you PLEAAAAASE put a rake in his hand and change the "pool daddy" to "rake daddy"?

More like the novelty of winning tons of money has worn off and he's not going to waste his time doing things he doesn't feel 100% into.

He said this before the SHRB as well in his YT vid. Also lol at "rage quitting" as if he's been super active in the high roller scene lately. Had he even played a high stakes game this year prior to the SHRB?

This. In the past couple of months, Doug has indicated that he was going to play somewhere between 0 and 5 events. The only event he has specifically mentioned he would play was the Main Event.
