No amount of forcing will make your point valid.
Hank Aaron or any hitter adjusts his swing and mindset in an at-bat (hit away, pull hit etc) to reflect the pitcher, ballpark, and conditions in which they are playing at that moment to get the best result possible. For a home run hitter, that is a home run. For a poker player, that is adopting a style to best exploit the opponents faced at that moment so as to make the most amount of money possible while those conditions persist.
Durr used a style best suited to exploit for financial gain the often weak competition in front of him and not necessarily to beat the entire player pool of high stakes players existing in the world at that time. Is this really that hard for someone posting on twoplustwo to comprehend or are you trying to be obtuse?
p.s- Hat-tip to Mason above, though I would say that hitters do change how they hit depending on where they are playing and who they are facing and different average and home run totals for each of the parks (some parks like Colorado because of altitude or Toronto because of windflow when the roof is closed are home run parks).
