This whole berkey thing is pretty pathetic. Berkey probably hasn't spent more than five minutes thinking about latb and Doug is still making videos about it two weeks later.

Polker Hands is much better with comedy. Somehow I think, at this point, he's just going for the people that enjoy some laughs during his videos rather than hating on Berkey. Perhaps I'm wrong but I enjoy the lols he creates.

Torelli>Berkey IMO, because Alec Torelli is WYSIWYG, he has the classic American salesman look and presentation about him, he pushes lifestyle stuff hard (too hard IMO) so it's kinda transparent and you either like it or you don't.

Whereas, Matt Berkey's main M.O., as I see it, and as Doug mentioned, is his air of superiority. Example, his grammatically incorrect "Solve For Why" brand having Rodin's The Thinker as its logo!

I felt this undesirable superiority vibe well before his recent awful performances, his pulling out of the 100/200/1K game and him now being 3 times rekt by Doug's videos.

You need to watch the first few minutes of the video posted two posts before yours. Now I can see why Berkey had no idea what the actual stakes were. Too vague.

Yes he claimed that stakes were vague, they were somewhat, but on balance it was fairly clear what the general size of the games was as the week was progressing. The vast majority of people believe it was pure game selecting by him.

You don't need to be superior to have an opinion or make observations. I'm most certainly inferior to many people in many areas. They are not judgements by me, but observations purely of their poker personas and poker related output.

Most poker coaches and content creators do not emit such an air of superiority like he does.

I don't think you can call someone hiding his chips like Torelli "What you see is what you get".

Cardplayer podcast with Berkey was great. I had first come across Berkey on YouTube. Thought he was level headed and intelligent despite the backwards facing baseball cap.

He mentioned his tough life with the death of his crack mom and his tough upbringing. He's always been introverted and has had confrontation with people like his former baseball coach cuz they thought he was "superior". But when you listen to him talk, he's quite reasonable and not trolly unlike Porky.

You said something to the effect of feeling badly for the way you treated Hashtag.
I just wanna tell you my opinion of how wrong that mentality is you have... and i say this as someone who agrees with you quite often.

Hash cannot,and should not get "a free pass" because he has mental issues. He is a grown man, an educated person and should know right from wrong. He does know whats right and whats wrong. You cannot go thru life treating people the way he treated people and get away with it. Sometimes Yes violence is the answer. I guarantee you HAsh wont do whatever he did to get that beating again. Hash has had interventions and the whole internet world tell hiim how out of line he was being. HE chose as a grown man to ignore everyone and keep being a scumbag. So he got his ass beat. So what? He deserved it. Lets just say he owed 50k, just because hes "mentally fd up" people shouldnt think its mean to rough him up. If he had won, he'd collect obviously. Why should Hash get a free pass and get no consequences for his actions? why should he get a freeroll?
