One announcer the "tourney reg" was extremely annoying. Kept taking about solver land , like bro come on. Anyone that wants to hear solver analysis isn't watching a live poker stream. He finally toned it down once chat went off complaining on him.
Lineup was dull.
If they want to compete in live stream, they need to just get rid of whoever they put in charge to manage all these fail attempts. Also fire audio / video guy.
After reading the last few messages this morning I decided to check it out, searched it up on YouTube on my tv. Only watched 15 minutes, it was actually comical it was so bad.
The comical part was before they started playing they had a ribbon cutting ceremony where they introduced some of the people behind the show, production, etc. None of them had any energy at all. Their words were saying how excited they were and what a huge deal it is starting the stream at Commerce... but they were very monotone, low energy. No way they should have been on camera, almost seemed like a comedy skit where the goal was to act the opposite of your words.
Then they had player intro's in a quick interview where the spotlight was on them. Most either barely spoke English or were super awkward/quiet in that kind of situation.
The hot blonde in the nice outfit and the other dude host with the braids/ cool hair and fancy suit were good with the requisite energy and personality. But everyone else... my god it was bad.
Then the play started and like others said, the production was sub-par. Looked like something that was created a few years ago when poker first started streaming.
Only watched about 5 minutes of play, so super small sample but the broadcasters were not good either.
