Joey doing a tribute to Devilfish makes about as much sense as Doyle Brunson writing the biography of Jungleman.
this.
i don't think anybody disagrees that devilfish is a legend of the game. but it makes absolutely no sense for joey to do some sort of tribute episode to him just because of his recent passing. leave that to another poker podcast, that features more old school players and does more **** like that.
The overall point is to increase popularity of the game? Bring PLO to the masses if possible?
The aim is to go beyond poker geeks like us and what we want and try to attract new people.
I'm not saying Joey should do this but I don't see why it's a no no? Devilfish was massive and known the World over. A podcast dedicated to his colourful past could do nothing but good.

Dint know jungleman has been an elite pro poker player for the last 20 yrs and just died?
Maybe Doyle would write about him on Twitter like he did devilfish but an autobiography is pushing it.
Joeys podcasts are about poker, devilfish passing away is a big story.
I think people would have enjoyed listening to someone who knew him as obv joey didn't but a guest may have known him and wanted to share stories about him and I think ppl would've liked to listen about the old days etc.

No need to be a smart arse prick about it
Yeah good point. Just a guest who knew him well would be sufficient so Joey wouldn't need to do too much homework, sort of let the guest do the work. Nothing wrong with that, it's fine for the interviewer to learn during the podcast.
Joey is at Coachella with Ebony and the little bro, he'll be back in due time. I'm looking forward to some quality casting coming up soon.

I decided to put off the Twitch stream because I wasn't really enjoying it much and felt like I had absolutely no direction with it. I think my time would be better spent working on other content and for now leave the day-day twitch grind to every single other person in poker. One of the biggest reason I do these is because I have a ton of fun doing them, Twitch was really making me not feel that way about things anymore.
