Jungle podcasts are good. He is relatively honest but still hides stuff. He is the only one who actually talks about highstakes live games and private games.

What did he give to WCG? He keeps making veiled references to some kind of software that is making him and other users huge money. What the hell is going on with this? The Ike thing was strange enough but now he is pretty blatantly, and seemingly totally seriously, referencing more things like this. What tools are the top of the top using right now?

It'd really suck if a lot of the top guys are at the top because they have some kind of access to something others don't, rather than just having more talent or having worked harder.

Yea the "Zomggg GTO dream machine" posts are getting really annoying but I'd also be interested in what this is. Assuming it's something innocent given that he openly brought it up, said he used it and it really helped WCG's game, but not being able to say what it is is kind of weird.

Just an observation from a recent episode with Jungleman:

It seemed like Joey was less conversational, fun and natural now and more concerned with getting information (controversial or otherwise) from Jungleman. Jungleman being the idiot savant he is fell for it hook line and sinker. I actually understand what people mean now when they say Jungle is just being Jungle.

If Jungle is a scammer or dishonest (as many have suspected), then he does a great job of appearing aloof.

Lol very bad read my small stakes friend. If my goal was to get information controversial/otherwise or create viral moments with my guests I would be able to do a much better job at that and be much more subtle with it. It was actually the opposite this time around in that I didn't really try going into the more "controversial" topics outside of one specific thing I was really curious about which was the friendship with Doug. I cut a couple things off before they started to possibly head down that path this time around as well. In general I want to make the people I have on look great and not put them in a situation where they will come off looking bad.

Joey could really dig into things if he wanted. a few times when i was on, he touched on a subject, saw that i was either uncomfortable answering or just gave a vague answer and he moved on pretty easily. he usually has a good balance with such things.

FWIW, having watched Jungle on your podcast, he seems much more relatable and likable. If having an agent were a thing for poker hs players any more, you'd guess that Jungle's agent would be for him going on your show.

Not at all? I got the exact opposite take. Joey not prying and asking follow up questions to some pieces was frustrating as a nvgtard wanting to know dirt, but you can see Joey doesn't want to take advantage of Jungle's lack of awareness.

Jungle is such a character btw, his interviews are must watch.
