SO Timex, a 20BB poker star who had as far as I know has 0 history of winning at cash online doesn't win at 500z therefore Doug, one of the bigger NLHE cash game crushers of all time might not be able to?

I know most of the thread is laughing at this but the couple of you that discussed it seriously should be ashamed.

I would think he will beat 500 but i doubt he would crush it like a decent amount of poasters seems to believe

It doesn't matter, he has made a lot of his money smashing other guys who are really good at nlhe HU, I think he can figure out how to beat midstakes regs & fish pretty easily if he was giving it a solid effort.

Timex's attempt at cash had all those constraints though, because of the prop bet - wasn't there a time deadline, and no coaching rule, etc. And then Timex stopped because he could afford to stop and just pay off the bet if he felt like it.

It'd be interesting to see him keep going with the 500z, even though the prop bet is over. It seems like he'd have a better chance than most to become profitable, with hard work, and with the right coaching - as one of the top tourney players in the world.

Fees you should get Doug to do a prop bet with Dnegs. 30k hands 500z and doug has to have double Dnegs win rate to win. Make it a promotional thing in twitch where they grind at the same time. Would be fun to watch.

what do u mean by "double Dnegs winrate". dnegs will have a negative wr so if he loses -10bb/100 then doug has to dump 20bb per 100 to win?

Doug would have to beat -5 bb then but yes I wrote that knowing dnegs likely does not have a + win rate and that would most likely be pointed out. I just want to see a dnegs challenge in 500z!!! Actually any challenge in 500z would be pretty interesting.
