"Keeping it real" and stating something like "Poker is dead" which is so much speculative and complex statement that just cannot be generalized for all aspects of online poker is not the same in my humble opinion.
And that is what it is, personal opinions! As long as I take that under consideration I liked to hear what Jason Mo had to say and his opinions on things from his perspective, but overall the negativity and wibe I got off someone who supposedly is filthy rich and can do whatever he wants is just a perfect example for me that money does not make everybody happy, especially if you are "keeping it real". I am a bit pessimistic myself and that podcast really dampened my mood. I was relieved when it was over, but it made me think. So I don't feel like it was a waste of time.
Good luck on getting unbanned from Aria/Bellagio by the way Jason!
I liked the bamboo-cast for completely different reasons, because of another way of "keeping it real".
Anyway Joey, thanks for continueing this project and I hope you can grow something longterm sustainable from it that is a win/win for everyone involved, even if they are just a listener like myself.
At all the highstakes crusher who despise twitch as information-leakage and -ev:
You could connect with people just by streaming homegames or not what you are regularly doing on stars if you want to put yourself out there and attract oppertunities without giving up information that could damage you.
Everyone was happy that Stars signed the Ronaldos and Neymar, I bet a ton of folks could be motivated to see some of the crusher royality stream for the purpose of improving their profile and become interesting for sponsorships/affiliation and other oppertunities.
I think twitch is an oppertunity and everyone can either ignore it or ride it who is a name in online poker. Just my personal opinion!
