Robl just said hes not sure he'd go on HCL and play for millions of dollars as he's not sure it's a real game. About 6 hours and couple minutes in when Persson has JJ..

He was laughing and some might say it's just a joke and it might be, but seemed a bit more than just a joke...

Wow, this really sucks.

I was prepared for them to paywall Day 2 and Day 3 and I was going to snap buy a PokerGo subscription. This is the worst case scenario.

I just checked PokerGO's twitter and it looks like Day 2 (today) will be livestreamed on Youtube starting at 6:30pm ET

Day 3 will be livestreamed tomorrow on PokerGo starting at 6:30pm ET.

This is terrific news!

Pretty sick to hear Robl say that this is probably the smallest game that he's played in the last 5 years

For those who missed it, he said this at the table last night.

I only heard him say the hardest, same as Platt. Did you hear it, or just repeating what Hanks said?

Perhaps he said both, he talks a lil weird

I didn't hear what Robl said but am repeating what Hanks said. Sorry if Hanks misspoke and I'm just repeating his mistake.

I'm sure this has come up in other threads, but where did Eric Persson come from? I had never heard of him until the whole heads-up thing with Hellmuth, and now it seems like I see him on every live streamed game (which could just be Baader-Meinhof at work).

Kinda stupid oversight to broadcast this on a friday timeslot when it just 50/50 viewers with HCL by doing that. Should've ran 1st day today saturday instead. Wouldve had twice the viewers.
edit: made above comment before seeing that they are showing the day 2 free too! COOL, thanks Cary Katz!

Hellmuth was first I heard of him too. But there's nothing odd to it to me, he's just a rich guy who decided to start playing in TV-poker games and trash talk

Someone in the comments said Hustler's 200/400 game plays bigger than this and I have to agree.

This hybrid poker format might make for some great action tomorrow, but I think it's facilitated day 1 and day 2 to play tighter than normal. They probably should have tried this hybrid format out in a few smaller games first to see how players adjust.

I haven't paid close attention to all the hands, it's on a side TV, but isn't Robl the biggest nit ever, and gets no action every time he dusts some chips off and gets them in the pot?

Every time I look up he is either not in the hand or everyone is folding to his bet.

I think he just has solid reads on the big spots (Perrson and Yong) in this game. He also opened Q5o on the button tonight.

Extra sick considering how he almost **** his pants when he was on an early season of HSP in a smaller game than this.

So far this game has had really low variance card distribution really. Very few (if any??) coolers. I think that has a lot to do with it seemingly play small.

Responding to a post I made early February.

Anyone know how MJ Gonzalez is doing? I haven't been following.

That could be the case, but I think if you look back at the few coolers that have gone down, a number of times the players took a lower variance line.

Robl checking back a straight on the turn vs MJ's set is one example
