It used to just be that when you went to the forum homepage, the listing was on the right side of the screen. Now you have to click the Poker Players- Streaming Live Online link and it takes you to the twitch subforum before showing you the listing. Is this going to get fixed, or is it some ad-revenue grab or something?

It wasn't broken.......so they fixed it.

Put it back like it was.

I think they're probably trying to find some way to monetize it, one day it had a "featured poker players" bit up there. I think they're going to try and charge streamers to have their stream up there. Perhaps they're trying to get twitch to pay for click throughs or something like that. For the record though, I too much prefer it the way it was.

+1 thought this was just a glitch with my browser or my advertisement blocker.

FWIW I was checking 2p2 about 5x more per day than I used to because I liked using that listing on the side to see who is streaming.

My thoughts exactly. 2+2 just revert it back to the old way please, so annoying to have to load the extra page when I'm multitasking and just want to watch a stream. I see the side bar works after we click the poker streamer link, but it was much better when the sidebar showed automatically upon loading the forums.

Well, If 2p2 are into strangling their own traffic, then they should be my guest, but I'll bet that ALOT of people mainly uses 2p2 for checking out pokerplayers on twitch, and in the process of doing that, they find a thread or something that catches their eyes. Now people will go elsewhere to get an overview of Twitch and will access 2p2 much less because of that.

Apparently they blamed a 2+2 crash last week on the Twitch panel. So they will probably use that as the reason whether the new method is a cash grab or not.

Yes, it was the reason for the site slowdowns/crashes recently. We are looking for ways to restore without sacrificing site performance.

As far as monetizing the featured streamers list, not at this time, and I can tell who doesn't read stickies.
