What happened to cwlrs? What happened to cwlrs?

He used to stream 200nl zoom cash games on Pokerstars. Before suddenly disappearing. I haven't seen him streaming for ages.

I heard that he went on a big downswing, dropping down to 25nl zoom, before quitting poker completely soon after. That might not be what happened though, I am only going by what someone told me.

Does anyone know what happened to him? Does he still play Pokerstars cash games and/or stream?

He has decided to undertake professional accountancy qualifications, which will take him 3-4 years. It appears poker burnt him out and he find out it too tough.

He is also arrogant/delusional enough to think he's a crypto currency expert, after investing a little bit and getting lucky. That will probably blow up in his face sooner or later.

Anyway, thanks for the link!

Currently 4 tabling 500z. Jumps around the limits like crazy, all the way from 10z upwards.

Edit - 4 tabling 500z + 4 tabling 200z

Really? According to that reddit link, he quit last year.

For anyone who's interested, I can see him in the 200nl zoom lobby right now playing 4 tables.

Retiring on 30k? Is that a joke? Lets see his lifetime results graph. Short term results are meaningless.

No as in, must be nice retiring and then winning 30k in 10 days playing some of the hardest cash games in the world.

We need a bigger sample size to determine whether he's a long term winner.

Retiring on 30k is good, better than most. He can still rebuild it from a fraction of the base balance if he's really good if he wants to. Time to get greedy, but smart about it, get to 100k+, Cwlrs!

What has that got to do with anything? Dude retires, comes back to the game, clearly has been working his ass off and makes 30k in 10 days between 100-2k. GG, wp, nh, mbn.

Because variance plays a big role over such tiny samples. I don't doubt he's worked on his game, but let's wait until he builds up a bigger sample size first.

That graph has nearly 80k hands so not tiny but obviously not a true showing....nevertheless there are players who get lauded for winning a few 100k in that same amount of hands on NVG in the HS threads. For example prot0 has 74.5k hands logged on HSDB and has 433k profit...are we going to just disregard that too for variance?

What Cwlrs has done in 10 days is totally f*cking sick, even if he is sun running like Otb on steroids.

It's probably a mixture of playing decent, positive variance and table selection. I do congratulate him for what he's achieved, but I am always hesitant to label a player as "sick" unless their sample size of hands/games is very large.

Absolutely zero table selection. Just 8 tabling zoom and cutting 1 or two of them for 1knl or 2knl tables.

Respect for bumping this thread.

It's funny - I'm better than I've ever been, and I'm still so ****ing bad. We all still suck.

10bb/100 achievable for sure with perfect play.

10bb/100 achievable?

Because even at 200z playing only 500 hands per hour (which is the volume you can get 2 tabling), that's $100/hour.

Is any reg achieving anywhere close to this hourly at those stakes?

No idea, but all I'm saying is that it's possible, and not that far out of reach for a lot of people.

Fair enough. If it's possible and not far out of reach for most people, I wonder what mistakes they're all making to prevent them from doing so?
