Huge fan of Tonkaaaap who I find to be one of the most entertaining Twitch streamers behind JCarver, Kevin Martin and Jaime Staples. I think this guy is a huge asset for the Twitch Poker community. I watch his streams on a regular basis and I think he's a natural streamer. I do think however once he started accepting stakes from his viewers that his play started to deteriorate thus the start of all the dramatic degen plays. But hey all power to him for getting his gullible viewers to buy pieces of him @ -EV mark ups. That's neither here nor there and its not the reason I created this thread.

It appears Parker Talbot aka Tonkaaaap did something really stupid and its really a crying shame because I'm a big fan. Now I don't know the exact details surrounding this incident except that he either closed his twitter account or he got banned from twitter. I'm thinking its the latter because he tweeted and then deleted the tweet and apologized for it. Here's a cached version of his Twitter account with his last tweet before closure:



As a avid follower and a viewer who's even donated to him I hope he didn't do something stupid. If Tonkaaaa's tweet was in any way offensive and I'll be the judge of that myself then he's lost a viewer and follower. There's not many Twitch streams I actively avoid save for WCGRider, DBoyd, Hellmuth. I just hope Tonkaaaap clarifies this situation for all of his subscribers and loyal Twitch followers.

I would be grateful if anyone could post what Tonkaaap tweeted. If it was racist, misogynistic, hateful in any way, shape or form I'm going to expose him. These are not the kinds of people poker players should support and look up to.

I still watch Jimmy Stapler but there is an underlying tragedy to the fact that he lobbied Tonks so hard to join Twitch and now the latter has monopolised his viewership and pulled out of his ill-conceived 'stream house'.

Ya Op is likely matt staples or one of the "stream house" mods , as nobody in their right mind would reference jamie staples and kevin martin as having a better / more entertaining stream than tonkaaa obv .. Tonkaaa is twitch poker !!!

Well it appears Tonkaa and TeamNeverLucky are joining forces with Kevin Martin and the Stapler to take on WCGRIDER and his young gun streamers Buehlero and BParis who now form a new part of the Empire called GrindNation.

Tonkaas new overlay and EasywithAces girlfriend set the tone for a new battle, and they despite the loss of Pilar, and Staplers ongoing health issues, look to be taking the upper hand.

However, The Lab is brewing and with the support of Chicago Joey and the help of Bparis making poker great again it appears that we are only seeing the beginning.

Tbh bparis ain't that interesting. Oc he plays higher stakes but tonkaa does that allso and brings way more entertainment to the stream. This is like a battle between tonkaaa and wgc then.

So I'm not the only one who noticed tonka basically stole jaime's viewers. Sad really. I've been watching him since the beginning and always had big numbers. The twitch market is becoming very diluted too. Not Jamies's fault though. If he binks the warm up and keeps playing the 1ks maybe his viewer count doesn't drop as much. Tonka is so consistent that I don't think it really would have mattered though. It's too bad. I really want him to succeed.
