Cliffs:

He will return to streaming in November but will only broadcast 'once or twice a week'. He finds it difficult to combine a balanced/healthy lifestyle with a lot of streaming and doesn't always cope well with the level of negativity in Twitch chat.

JCarver is still #1 but he and Tonka are closing the gap. Can't get his head around Jason's stamina, consistency and temperament during stretches like WCOOP.

Jaime is an 'averagish' poker player but the hardest working streamer. Doug believes his stream has suffered due to much better poker players taking to Twitch and that he opens himself up to abuse too much with the vlogs and endless introspection.

This must be a troll. If he streams twice a week that challenge gonna take like five years. And that negativity must be troll allso. Unless he mens other streamers chats.

I don't think he's really bothered by it, he's just pointing out how results oriented viewers can be, so it's hard to foster a fun/positive atmosphere in chat at all times.

1 or 2 days a week on wsop site... Good luck with that.. you're drawing dead...

Kinda looks like this whole twitch thing etc was cause of your 1.7 million dollar downswing and you were thinking you couldn't beat the game anymore... But now you have binked 1.5 mill or so you're cutting back...

Makes sense tho... Don't blame you at all

Just want to say thanks for the response here, but want to clear a few things up.

I will probably stream 2 days a week through November, I think this is pretty reasonable. Also keep in mind I am going to be streaming Dec, Jan, Feb, and there is not a time limit on the challenge. So don't underestimate the results that can happen over time.

I definitely did not move down to 1c/2c because I was on a huge downswing (lol). Over that course of time I played a bunch of highrollers, some high stakes live cash, etc.

Don't worry, I will be streaming again and we will finish the 10k challenge .

Are you saying that Polk decided to make that 1.7 million dollars from twitch grind?

Logically, yes.Otherwise, they wouldn't be watching week after week.

Suggesting they wouldn't be there week after week to watch Mid/High stakes is quite illogical.

I'm just speaking as someone who stopped watching when he started the challenge, which would also contradict your statement.

haha yes doug i realize you didn't move down to play 2nl cause of your downswing... Anybody who thinks that wouldn't have the iq level to create an nvg account

I was referring to you creating upswing and growing your brand etc But it's good to hear you will be taking it cool in November and picking it up hopefully by years end

I'm a fan of yours... Between youtube and twitch you are the best content creator in poker right now.Best of luck in your challenge..

No need to be proud Doug. PM me regarding 1c/2c staking. I think you have the potential to beat these games with a bit of help.
