Streamers: How do you add value to your Twitch channel? Streamers: How do you add value to your Twitch channel?

It's hard to achieve Twitch Partner status as a poker player. How did you build your viewership and add value to your streams for viewers? Are there any Twitch extensions that you swear by? What added value do you offer to your Subscribers? What's on the horizon for you to improve your content?

Giveaways (particularly cash) are always good...but also attract a certain type of viewer who is generally looking for handouts. I've done a few different incentives for my viewers including shot glasses (we do a fair amount of drinking on my stream). But really the two biggest keys to growing a stream are volume (streaming a lot) and being an active part of the community.

I also have new things on the horizon for my stream. Planning some fun stuff from the WSOP this summer.

I picked up the domain twitchpoker.com a long, long time ago.

I would be interested in whether anyone wants to use it to create a news site for TwitchStreamers, reviews, comments, et cetera.

Perhaps it would be useful to add value to Twitch streams ?

That's really awesome. When you say you are an active part of the community, how do you spend your time to be active in the community? What's the best use of your time and energy I mean? Do you mean that you watch other channels and engage in chat?

Also, what are your cool plans for the WSOP for your channel?

Hmmm... One idea could be to simply curate a channel of only Twitch poker streamers hosted. That way you could organize the hosts based on whatever metrics you chose and drive traffic to a single channel.

A news site sounds like a blog, and those don't seem to get a lot of traffic these days. Maybe a directory of Twitch poker streamers would, though. I'm sure a lot of people Google those search terms looking for exactly that.
