Good evening guys
My name is Alessia, I'm 27 years old and italian(so sorry for bad english and mistakes) and I play poker since the end of 2009.
I don't know how, but the time it's just gone, how could this happen?

My story about poker is quite long but I'll make it short:
I started playing poker because my ex boyfriend was a poker player and he won a lot, I needed money for my creative hobbies (handmade and photography) so I started play and learned ABC poker in a few months and I was lucky because my first good result in MTT arrived very soon (very few knew playing in those years, also on pokerstars the field was easy).

In 2011, I strongly wanted to be a professional player and wanting to be part of a PRO TEAM so I started to study and grind on afternoons and on evenings per 6 days a week getting good results. After a short period(5/6 months) however, I realized that I can't handle with this rhytm so I choosed to play only in the evening, as the best tournaments started at 9 and 10.

Meanwhile I played also several live tournaments (an ipt, a Malta poker dream where I reached 13 °, a grandprix poker and European poker tournament) through the satellites, and almost succeeded in my mean playing a tournament sponsored through evabet and some ladies through giamax poker.

I have always considered travelling and playing live poker the most beautiful part of poker on that period time because I love to see new places and meet new people.
I'm just unlucky because I live in south Italy and the nearest casino is around 500 km from here, and I have not even a poker room nearby where you play live T_T and all casinos are in the north Italy T_T

However at home I continued to grind every night but in 2012 the situation had become untenable for me, I lived at night, I got up at two having lunch just wake up so I had a violent collapse and quitted poker completely for almost three years.

I started again with poker when I discovered twitch some months ago, now I play mainly for fun and because I've always liked the fun side of poker and share the game with someone who watch me really makes it less boring and fun!
Now I play mostly cash at lower limits because I like to chat a lot while streaming and afternoon turbo tournaments, rarely playing some long mtt in the afternoon or in the evening and some satellites to live poker.

On twitch I try to speak in English because I enjoy it, it stimulates me and I like challenges and it is a way to make myself known to a wider audience, my challenge is to be able to ship live streaming at least one MTT (I did several final table and a couple of third places, but since I've started again I have not yet won!)

(unfortunately the quality it's not the best possibile because I have only 7mb in download and less than 1 in upload but it's the only DSL where I live, probably in july 2016 we'll have the optic fiber,I really hope for it!)
