I was watching Jamie's stream (pokerstaples) the other day and he said that OBS had updated their mac software to include a delay which was not previously included. fairly tech savvy but couldn't find a solution yet. Thanks guys!
All I know is when I was in vegas I met one of the guys involved in OBS development. I explained how important a delay is to poker streamers on Mac. He told me that he passed it along and it would get done. I'll try to follow up.
Im in the same position. I believe that OBS are integrating a delay feature in their next major update on their software. There's no date officially given but i believe it's weeks rather than months away.
Only other option is running Windows through Bootcamp or Parallels software but this is additional cost and starts adding up. I think i'm going to reluctantly wait for the delay feature on the mac OBS software which really cant come soon enough!
yeah I tried to run parallels but it would distort the screen size of my tables and I couldn't import my hands correctly. Hopefully I can give bootcamp a shot soon.
I spoke to somebody on the OBS forum looking for an update on the situation and was told that the release was almost ready. No official date still but likely to be released in the next week or two!
I was considering running Bootcamp but it seemed a lot of hassle and expense seeing as i don't own a copy of Windows. Glad i didn't buy Parallels too as i did consider that as a solution. With the new delay feature coming to the mac software imminently i think i've decided to wait it out.
