How does Jcarver just insta get 15k viewers, without notably draining the view count of the other major twitch streamers? What is the make-up of his viewership? Has its legitimacy ever been called into question? Curious.

Big army of fanboys and pretty sure some are from the youtube era. He built an quite impressive brand with the riu shop and live events etc so no wonder people tune in instantly when he goes live.

Why are PokerStaples & PokerStars thumbnails permanently appearing at the top of this forum regardless of viewership?

He needs to be really good (like tonkaaa) or bad (like moldran) and entertaining oc. And whats entertaining to some is really annoying to others. And after that interactive with the chat is a good thing. Needs to go with the trolls instead of being a salty little bitch like some of the popular ones are.

I've been streaming a few days now. Any feedback would be appreciated. I had to mark my channel "for mature audiences only" because of the swearing I guess.

Mostly playing MTTs and Sit & Gos with some cash and zone (bovada's version of zoom).

By what I see in viewer numbers it would go like this..

1. Stream Pokerstars
2. Stream No-limit MTTs (Deep Runs) in Big Buy ins
3. Stream Spin-N-Go's (The bigger buy-in the better)
4. Be Good Looking
5. Be Entertaining
6. Be informative

I personally would like to find some PLO ring game players that are bearable to watch, but I can't find them . This is including myself. I stream PLO, but there is just not an audience for it and I am lacking in the #4 and #5 areas. Also I live in the US so Stars is not an option, not that I would play there anyway

There was a server upgrade that broke it. It has been reported to the developer.

For me, the best streamers are interactive and provide their thoughts while in the middle of a hand. I feel I have learned from some, while I flat out disagree with how others play. Either way, it broadens my knowledge of how others think, which I can use when putting others on a range.

I am a guy, so looks count. People like Coutiebee and XuanLiu are both beautiful and uber intelligent.

Kevin Martin, although inexperienced (he doesn't give himself enough credit) is very entertaining, but from a pure Degen point of view, nothing beats Tonka or Big Dog viewing.

I also enjoy watching Live At The Bike on Twitch. IMO, viewing poker content on Twitch can be an awesome experience....or a complete waste of time.

I guess tonkaaaa is a good example of a really good stream.

He has the poker ability, plays big buyins, has the right amount of gamble in him, gives away chairs when he wins big, etc.

On top of that he has the skill to interact well with the audience and brings funny guests on like his mom or random girls and friends.

Exactly my thoughts when I came across his stream, one that has a thing or two to be learned from watching for a tournament player.

Have been wondering if it was my new Chrome blocker app that was blocking the list from showing that used to be off to the side, or if the list was actually gone lol - haven't been watching twitch ever since!

Am not even seeing the PokerStaples or PokerStars thumbnails - guess they only show when they're streaming?

hey, looks the Twitch listings are showing off to the side of this page for me again ... so mysterious - did they just return, or have they been there the whole time (and my computer just wasn't showing them)??




Well, it's nice to have - like a tv guide for twitch ... makes it a lot easier to find interesting tournaments to watch
