Really hope I don't get one of those emails!

I follow and enjoy many poker streamers... had to sub to pokerstaples though. Support those guys that you enjoy!

Archived vids is a pretty cool bonus.

I just got one of them and I am not a streamer. No credit card info or anything on there.

There's not a lot of damage that someone could do to me from the info held on twitch as far as I know but its still not a great feeling.

I stream a little, and I got the email. All of the Info I have on Twitch is already out there in one form or another, and the password requirements for changing my password require me to enter a password that is more secure than the one I use for my banking!
Twitch is going nuts over this!
There are a multitude of options for additional levels of account security, depending on the situation. What is very clear is making EVERY account use a password of this type is over the top, and only irritates and frustrates the viewers. Most accounts will never need this level of security, and making everyone jump through these hoops is incredibly bad customer service.
Twitch has over reacted, and this may actually have a significant impact on those who's income is totally reliant on twitch. I can see some people refusing to change passwords, and just not subscribing to things any more, and with the reduced engagement, we even may see a swindling of viewer numbers.
Twitch has acted this way to protect themselves, and their clients (which is laudable). Thing is, they brought a nuke to a nerf gun fight.

How do you broadcast on twitch, can it be done just showing the screen, no mic or webcam, just poker game. I downloaded the broadcast software, not sure how to start braodcasting

Did that, downloaded but still blank screen. I figure since it appears pokerstars profiles players that braodcast on twitch and they magically run good for promotion, I will do it.

strange. when i went to twitch homepage i was prompted to reset my pw. i had to click a link to have twitch send me an email to reset.

I never got that email posted above, but whats going on?

What happened to twitch ? Can't login anymore. Request new password doesn't work. Making new account even fails.

Hmm, I had no issues with getting my twitch account sorted yesterday. Though the notification email came fairly late, after I had already reset everything.

Anyways, I just started streaming 10PLO Zoom for funs, just a single table. If you feel like tuning in to make fun of my plays, check out my stream at twitch.tv/labergee

I'll stream tonight at 7PM PST maybe a little earlier. Hope you guys can check it.

Tyty, I will probably stream 4 days a week or so going forward, so there will be lots of chances.

Is anyone else having problems with it right now though? Twitch is down for me
