I am going to start streaming on Twitch next week. I created a tilt control website for US players, but I am not sure if I can mention the name of it without getting banned. I do NOT make money off of this site. In fact, I lose money on it every month.

The point is, I am going to start streaming soon, and hope others will join me. The best part is, viewers can actually make money off of me if I screw up! If I have broken any rules here, I apologize, and understand if this post gets deleted. Thank you for your time.

Don't think I've posted in this thread before, however have been watching a few streamers over the years that I just started watching recent again that I enjoy ; AllInPav (been cool seeing him evolve as a player and do well at the higher stakes) , CourtieBee, and sometimes MattStaples. Obv Tonkaa hardly ever streams anymore so bummer there but, anybody remember the guy who streamed a lot a couple years ago mostly from Stars, he lived in Iceland or Greenland (don't remember) I think his SN was Dan(something). Did he just quit poker or what ever happened to him?

Most recently I started to watch all sorts of streams. I got interested in only two online card games such as poker and online betting. I never knew that both things could be so entertaining to watch. Especially nowadays? You don't need to go anywhere and earn for yourself.

I have to say, streaming has been the best thing I have ever done to eliminate my tilt issues. It hasn't just reduced my tilt, it has completely eliminated it!

Hey friends!

I'm a high stakes live pro, and with the pandemic and all, I've been streaming PLO Cash, MTTs, as well as study sessions. I made a PGC for it here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/1...aming-1782313/

My twitch is https://www.twitch.tv/inky_poker

Would love to have people drop by.

Here's a clip ^^

I am gearing up to start streaming (NLHE, probably MTTs but maybe cash games as well) and I am looking for resources on how to do it right, attract an audience and so forth. Who here has recommendations?

Twitch's help page:
https://help.twitch.tv/s/
Has a lot of info and they also have a download page for recommended apps. There are also a slew of tutorial videos on Youtube.

If you want to sub out some of the work designing and setting up your stream hire a freelancer from https://www.fiverr.com/

This user, poker_2021, promotes his bot software product over twitch! (Russian of course)

How is this legal? I already sent a complain to twitch.

Co0kies only really watchable PLO player that I have found. Not a fan of the Jnandez crew other than Shuller (not sure if he really streams much). Shameless self promo I started back up my PLO stream. Not good, not bad just out here.

Hey everyone, I just recently started streaming on twitch.tv/rokop1512 ! I'm doing it mainly to keep myself focused on the poker so I can improve (found myself multitasking too much recently). I'm trying to take poker seriously again, studying and going over hands etc when time allows. I'll try to follow in the Jcarver style of one-tabling and talking about the hands as they come about.

I have a couple final tables on stream already! I'm no streaming pro, but give me a follow and keep an eye out for me on the Pokerstars PA MTT streets

Conventional wisdom seems to be that streaming tournament play is better in general than streaming cash game play. The argument I have heard is that cash play is just hand after hand after hand, whereas tournament play offers viewers a longer story arc, what with the various stages of the tournament being different challenges, culminating in the final table.

First question: how true is this in your own opinion?

I play MTTs online, and I stream my tournament play; but my numbers are simply better for cash game play. Hour for hour, my win rate is dramatically better for cash than tourneys, until and unless I make a big score in a large-field tournament. I think I shoul be playing more cash games and fewer MTTs.

Second question: How successful would a bankroll challenge be as something to engage viewers with cash games?

The 'story arc' would necessarily be over a longer term than for a tournament: weeks or month rather than a single session.

I am thinking along the lines of starting with $40 on ACR and attempting to grow it a thousand-fold to $4K, starting at 2NL and moving up (or down) according to bankroll size.

What do you think?

Hey,

There's some guy on Twitch that has been streaming some 5knl the last couple days.

Very interesting since he acts like kind of a novice but he seems like quite a good player from what I've seen.

I've never seen anything like this.
