hosting the way youre thinking is pretty recent on twitch, and the person hosting isnt live as well at the same time. the rule is about actually pulling up someones stream on yours live while youre broadcasting.

"Re-streaming of another channel's content without permission: Don't cross the streams! This rule also holds for content located on websites outside of Twitch, as well. If you're not the point of origin, don't put it on your channel."

going to another persons stream and badmouthing them in chat is pretty ****ty though as well.

Lol btcblade
I don't think anyone, including himself is surprised he's been banned (again). He just loves to push and push, breaking all the rules until there's no other option left but to ban him

Funny guy though.. Super knowledgable and a good poker player for sure .. Also quite the enjoyable stream if you're looking for someone to say it like it is with no censor or regard for other people's opinions or feelings

When a channel owner uses the /host command, the hosted streamer gets credit for the views and most are appreciative. I can see a problem with capturing someone else's steam in a window and rehosting that on your channel with commentary if permission is not granted.

BTC didn't start anything. People came in and started spreading rumors about pokerstaples, in a fun way.

He might have been out of line with some stuff, but he also spoke some truth about other streamers and shady stuff.

It was one day where things got out of hand. Most of the time he talked about stocks and poker. It was a good stream for poker, and one of my favorites. Most players don't talk about strat at all. Adrian and BTC did.

A lot of the time people were talking garbage about BTC, so he could dish it out and take it.

Hello, I play Omaha and Mixed MTT's up to the 530$'s, and I am interested in this concept.
Could anyone of you please tell me how I could set this up without any advertisings, except for PokerStars to register, and how I should proceed with this?
I hate advertising and commercials etc, but I think I could teach more than half of my viewers to win at PLO and Mixed MTT's up to 33$ on PS and FT within 30-50 hours, so I could definintely justify advertising PS on my stream.
Money doesn't mean as much to me as other things, but I still need to make a lot more to fully live up to that statement.

BTC may have played fast and loose with the Twitch terms of service, but to call this guy a big time dick and a narcissist is taking it a bit too far. The guy is super entertaining, answers all questions honestly, and also provides informative poker strat. His live hunt downs of Stickyrice1 and Jpatche were pretty funny and completely above board...he had no more info than anyone else watching those streams on delay. Nothing shady about this at all..pure fun. BTC, you're a twitch poker legend homie... and stay tuned, it looks like his stream may be back up shortly... so keep that haterade on ice.

I don't want to repeat what was said. I don't personally know 100%, but i'm 90% sure people who boted viewers did it. Also a streamer just shamelessly advertisers his **** in other peoples streams when they have no connection to said person. Other type of stuff.

The people hating on BTCblade are losing players and obese whales that are looking for their first friend on twitch.

anyone half normal will not get offended. Problem with twitch is most of the users are americans and we all know how the lower tier of americans cant stop getting offended by every little thing.

BTC has the only informative stream + there's no hand holding. Just truths and reality.

(Mods, if this in inappropriate, please delete. But I think it's not!)

I beg your pardon for my attention whoring, but I have to post this here to see if my 2+2 fellows support this.

Since summer of 2013, I have won more than $40K in PLO Hi and Mixed MTT's, and I think about starting a twitch stream.

I would only want to advertise PS/FT - nothing else - and stream my 530$ Monday PLO single-tabling, plus my Wednesday with 12 different red 27$ MTT-variants on Pokerstars, 3-5 tabling.
Since I am pretty confident that I can turn all regular 2+2'ers into at least slightly winning players in at least ten of the twelve 27$ MTT-variants, plus communicate some solid PLO HI MTT startegy, I think this is worth it for all of us.

I just made a post about my last 2 years in the degen stories thread in BBV, after getting a new job few days ago, and am ready to fire on all streets, getting things going now!

As soon as I have received 20 PM's on here, telling me to ****ing do this, I will give my very best to turn as many 2+2'ers into profitable Omaha and Mixed MTT players as I can, and start a twitch-channel!

You'll only be successful on Twitch if it's something you're passionate about. You have to stream very often and on a consistent schedule to build a big audience and you have to be engaging and entertaining. If it's not something that you are willing to do without people asking you too, then it probably isn't worth doing.

I am obsessive!
I am extrovert and well spoken.. at least somewhat fluently in english
I will stream each Monday and Wednesday, with Wednesdays always being 12 hours minimum with 12 different 27$ MTT-variants (the biggest benefit for viewers who want to start playing tournaments), and the 530$ Monday PLO single tabling, to have time to talk to people and analyse all hands in detail, maybe including some of the last Wednesday. And I could easily extend that to 5 days a week, as soon as I see the chance to make a few $ per hour with PS/FT advertising.
I don't need too much poker-lingo, and can explain ranges in words to keep it understandable for recreationals.

I know i can make this work, and will start in Wednesday

I am Parasences on PokerStars, and on Twitch, and will set this up to be able to start it on Wednesday.

Edit:
I would enjoy to talk ~5 hours and ~13 hours non-stop on Mondays and Wednesdays. Same as 5 days a week. I am that sick.

Preferably, I should stream 13 hours 3x a week with all 27$ MTT-variants, plus the 530$ PLO on Monday single-tabling, right?

You'll probably build a bigger audience single-tabling on stream, as it makes it easier to follow along and to learn, but if you need to play poker to make a living then it's possible to play up to 4 tables and still have an engaging stream.

I wish you the best of luck and I'll probably be tuning in from time-to-time.

Just want to say I am a BTCBlade supporter. One of the top streams in terms of entertainment, sweats, strat, and even the day trading and sports betting stuff is pretty cool and interesting. Where most streams are boring and vanilla wanna be radio host sounding people, his stream is like a breath of fresh air and feels real.

it does suck to think about but it cant be avoided. there is a plethora of information out there, this site is one of them, games are going to get tougher. There are still sooooo many people interested and playing poker though that i wouldn't worry about it that much. i have been hearing it for years that games are going to dry up, get tougher yada yada, i think we are many years away from that. its actually kind of disgusting the amount of money that gets pumped into the poker economy.

some of these streams are enticing new players. when watching some of the streams I have saw all kind of noob questions, questions being asked by new and uninformed potential poker players, this is a great thing. Some of these streams are definitely good for poker.
