So glad to see how there are people out there who see what is really going on. Everyone on Twitch goes to this guy and others like they are following a Charles Manson. Pretty pathetic imo.

Dude, just stop. Lex has earned every single damn viewer through blood, sweat and tears. Guy legit puts in 10 hr days and grinds the Twitch poker streets.

Went from being a top tier PLO cash game player to a high stakes tournament crusher. Hands down the most skilled poker player streaming on Twitch, hence the reason why so many of us watch him.

Name me 1 poker player who hasn't gotten salty when losing significant hand to a bad beat. If being in the Lex legion makes me a fan boy or cult member then all the better. The guy is doing it right when it comes to making poker great again.

Doug Polk, Daniel Rake is Sweet Negreanu, Kevin annoyingly cheery Martin, both the fat and short Staples, Jcarver, Phil Ivey, and almost 90% of professionals will not berate fans of theirs, and other players, while simultaneously maintaining he is promoting a toxic free culture. The guy is a clown. Who cares if he has earned what he has or not. That doesn't give him the right to be a little ****.
Only for the record I thought I'd show you how ridiculously wrong you are. Make poker great again? What is he the Hillary or Donald of this ****show? Lmao.

Out of curiosity.. what are his rights to be, what are the rules and who makes these rules? Very curious to know

Simpy put, the same rights that govern decent human behavior? Like the ones that tell us not to kill people or do you need an explanation of how this is wrong too? Seeing something you do not like and then feeling emotionally attached to a result (i.e. a bad beat, a lost 50/50, 70/30, a comment in chat you do not like, etc.) and then spewing out vitriolic toddler behavior in response, is not a GTD right. Or maybe it is, because who are we to say right? Is that the answer you are looking for ?

Anyway, the point of my original reply was that I am very glad to see some people see how big of a clown this guy really is.

Re: Lex Veldhuis

Add me to the camp who thinks he's entertaining but not as good at poker as he thinks he is. It's impressive how much he's making off subs + donations though relative to other poker streamers. I think he has a good personality for streaming, isn't afraid to be vulnerable and tends to communicate clearly and mostly about interesting stuff.

Re: Lex Veldhuis

^Also saw that. He was 100% getting frustrated over the previous couple of orbits and I think it had a lot to do with why he shoved, then he dismissed it as standard and bemoned his bad luck that one of the blinds woke up with a monster. There's obv a stack depth where open ripping K9s OTB makes sense here but I don't think 24-26bbb or whatever it was is it.

Re: Lex Veldhuis

Jeesh, that is a weird move and definitely not standard (with small pairs it's an option but still not standard with 25bb effective on the button).

I think I'll skip the "Raise your Edge" he always plugs if he thinks moves like this made him so much better.

This is typical Lex. Whines about his audience. Whines about his luck. Shoves with the hand that was way behind pre-flop, flop, turn and river, then goes into subscriber-only chat mode.

Nice find. I forgive him for condescending outbursts like this but the end of the 69ss hand had me lol'ing pretty hard.

I dont know how to go back to previous sessions or find them so well, but if you can go back and find the hand he just busted the 55 wcoop win the button tourney with AQ im sure the thread wil appreciate it. He basically got alln with over 3million chips at the 25k bb level and moaned about his luck when he"ran into aces"

THe funny thing is he feels so entilted and thinks hes above everybody and doesnt realise how LUCKY he is.IDC if hes"down 40k" like he said in the clip you sent. T should be 100k, hes just a degen gambler always gambling.
He cries about geting unlucky, but what about just 2 weeks ago how he won with K3 to KK allin preflop? That was a 10 thousand dollar suckout. 10k and he wont remember it. Or what about his QQ to KK in that other bigscore he had for almost 20k? like 7 months ago? or what abuout the 2 2outters he got to wn the thrill for his 55k? HE has been gited a few 2 outters, and even 1 outters to net himself over 50 grand, but cries about runninig bad in games he doesnt belong in. Its hilarious

He constantly overjams and plays wild to build stacks because he cant play postflop. He'd be down way more if variance really ranout fairly, i posted like 4 months ago saying ths would happen. Just a matter of time till he stops streaming or drops down bigtime in stakes, but i dont know he got life given to him on a silver platter so he can afford to degen gamble on the tables

Re: Lex Veldhuis

I love watching Lex for his humour and I learn a lot as he's a much better player than me but I have to admit he's been tough to watch lately. I get that he's down a bunch but if you're going to play $2k tournaments, down $40k is hardly surprising.

I agree with the dono in that last video, he is the face of twitch poker right now, a lot of his streams end up on the front page so although he must be very frustrated, he needs to stop reacting so badly as it is terrible for his streamer image.

No need to stop. He's great for poker as many people watch and get inspired, yet they won't learn much. And given the donations from a couple of groupies he's getting equals a few K a month he can sustain it for a long time.

That he's overconfident isn't a problem either, not rare among poker players. The only thing I find scummy is that he suggests to his audience that they'd be printing money if they'd invest in his 1K's on Pokershares because he supposedly got some special deal where his MU is lowered (I don't know of any other poker player that has the audacity to suggest that investing in them = printing money). Reality is that his MU is reasonable if not on the higher side given his capabilities, and Pokershares is printing money because people invest in Lex. Of which he probably get's a kickback. That's just gross.

I hope you enjoyed the deepruns. He went deep in the hole for sure. Even when you count out the 1k+ his avg bin is probably something like 200$ that's a solid 100 buyin dump.

He is entertaining to watch and is the face of twitchpoker now that Carver retired. But he ain't nearly as good he thinks he is. The best part about him is when he punts 20bb+ with 25% it's a good play and has a lot of fold equility. When someone else does that (and sucks out on him) it's the worst play in the history of the game. But in the end that doesn't really matter. He needs to just break even and makes a good living from the stream. The army of blind little lemmings that loves to donate him takes care of that.

Re: Lex Veldhuis

Correct^
I find it ironic he is the face of twitch and is atrocious at poker just like Jcarver was.
Twitch plebs are so easily brainwashed. Lex is one of the worst bounty players too.
Pretty funny how he talks about how unlucky he is when he continually throws games away.

Am i the only one who notices he re enters 100 and 200 dollar mtts over and over and registers with like 10 bbs alot of the time? I guess its ok to light money on fire when he makes over 25k a month on twitch and whatever stars gives him. Lol and he has the nerve to complain. ungrateful punk

I said that Lex is the best poker player currently streaming on the Twitch platform. Never said he's in the discussion with the likes of C.Darwin, Lena900, Girafganger7. I've seen the progression Lex has made since he started playing tournies and it's night & day. With Bencb789's coaching, I can definitely see Lex becoming a top 10 tournament player in the not too distant future.

You're dead wrong focusing on Lex's SCOOP results because if you had watched his streams you would have seen how godawful he was running in crucial spots late in the tournies. He ships any of the 20'ish spots he busted in, he'd be up money.

Looking at your post history you do nothing but criticize Twitch streamers. If it weren't for Twitch poker who knows where I'd be in life. Discovering poker has been one of the best things to happen to me aside from marrying my wife. I love every facet of poker. Was watching JCarver's stream when he first started streaming and will continue watching good poker streams on Twitch. Don't think Lex is God, but the guy is going t reach the popularity of Pewdie, Dr.Disrespect, Summit1g on Twitch.

Lex not your cup-of-tea, fine. Exaggerating claims about his poker results or saying things that are clearly not true is asinine. If you could do what Lex is doing you would but you can't. Respect the grind and give props to Twitch streamers because it's a hard ****ing thing to do.

This is just nonsense. And tbh he was losing A LOT before the scoop allso. But you are a lemming that forgets the flips he wins.

And this is allso nonse. I do critize that's true but prolly 99% of my posts are in the internet poker and nvg section. I posted a lot to Staplers thread and that's pretty much that. Obv you can prove me wrong but can you?

Quote:

Didn't say this either. I said he is entertaining but not nearly as good he thinks he is. I do watch the streams and I can say that with 100% confidence he is a mediocre player at higher stakes. At best.

Quote:

And what does this even mean? Are you trying to say I'd like to be a stream grinder? Not in a million years. I don't need donations, subs or any other revenue to make a living from poker.
