Look, I don't wanna discuss if he manipulates or not because I don't know anything about betting on poker players. It's about your style of posting, it's really hard to take you serious when you're acting like a 12 year-old kid who bet a large amount of money from his dad's credit card on Lex and lost.

And yes, I like Lex but I'm not blind and see that he's far from being perfect.

My style is aggressive and to the point, just like he is.
Your example is funny though idnever take a CC from parents lol and if i did id invest it in prety much anyone before Lex. I honestly wouldnt buy 50% of him for a third of the buy in lol

When Lex respects his chat when hes tllted d respect him. how about that?

To be fair, lately I noticed a remarkable change in how he presents buying his action. I might have it wrong because I don't watch everything and if I do only in the background while playing, but when I heard him speak about Pokershares he promoted it as 'good value' at best, and I didn't hear any of the bogus assertions he used to make before. He reads this thread, so maybe he realized it was indeed wrong.

No way to track his results anymore, as yesterday he requested Run it Once to hide future tournaments in which he doesn't make money

No,i play $50 ABI, where i win and where i belong.
Its the microfish who have the mentality of not folding because"i have a set"

Why dont you take a look at the hand, and keep in mind the player who shoved is a good player.
The call pre with 88 is fine, but when it comes J108 and someone shoves 166 bigblinds effective into 6 players, what do you think he has? Answer logically.
Also, in a deepstacked game, 97 and q9 aretwo hands EASILY out there, and Lex wasnt even last to act. Stll 4 others behind. What if someone has a higher set?

The guy who shoved has botto set beat everytime...the fact he didnt even CONSIDER folding is just another reason why he shouldnt play games he doesnt belong in,and as a side lol.... in todays 10k at the 500 1klevel he had jacks and was lke"if this guy wants to raise me we are going broke with it. This guy is the worst of the worst,, andmy prediction of him losing 45k was for the series, at this rate itd be this week LOLO!

too bad we wont find out as he blocked his (losing) results from the RIU stats site.

saw a bunch of suspicious hands from him today. after the 10k bustout he basically melted a top 5 stack in the 1k away with 200 players left. he finished around 170th. last hand was him shipping 35bb with A9s into UTG raiser and he was SHOCKED how that guy could "wake up" with QQ there. he then complained how he can never win a hand in a spot like this (hint: he won several big pots from behind that night, f.e. cracked AA with 55 and rivered the boat vs. flopped str8 in the hand above etc.)

Well, he does say what he lost so far every now and then... a little over 25k so far,but its very wrong he blocks his stats. He claims because of the toxic people who dont know what a downswing is. At what point will HE REALISE ITS THE NORM? Lol man, hes just bad, he will never learn. He needs to just play 33s and under and enjoy the 40k or so he makes on twitch and stuff and enjoy his life.

Telling people to invest in him at a good buy is just outright lying and misinformed people are throwing money away. Even at 1.0 is unfair

Yep i saw him lose after the 10k today like you said just donate but to be fair that A9 situation wasnt even tilt. He is just bad,and hes done that for 80 bigs before. He doesnt know how to play postflop so he makes all these insane overshoves all the time.
He also doesnt even runbad its hysterical.. very entertaining to watch a trainwreckindeed!

The shoving player could very easily have a very strong combo draw that they don't mind committing all in with to either pick up 18bbs or force action all in for a shot at opposing bounties.

Someone waking up with a set behind is less likely as the original raiser was UTG and had already checked so you'd expect the players left acting behind would consider betting out with their higher sets on this board a reasonable percentage of the time on the flop for value.

The shoving player will almost certainly have a high equity hand/semi bluff in this spot but think 88 is just too strong to fold with this dynamic in a bounty tournament.

You are probably the most annoying poster on 2+2. I'm not even sure why I bothered commenting on this hand or responding to your post but your attacks on Lex and other twitch steamers bother me. Whether you like their style of play or not these streamers are putting themselves out there and doing alot to promote the game of poker. You come across as a bitter grinder that thinks they know more than they actually do about the game of poker. You hide anonymously in the dark with your snub comments and it brings alot of unnecessary negativity to this forum/thread. Just give it a rest and find something better to do with your time.

Re: Lex Veldhuis

depends on veaaa-s opening range.

can't do icmizer sim for more than 2 tables, i did it for 2 tables with 15 players left, 13 itm with 2 players slightly covered by a couple of big blinds as it happened for 25players/23itm.

with veeea opening 38% range AJo is slightly negative and the +ev shoving range is {99+, AJs+, AQo+}

i have no clue how it changes with +10 players and it's possible i made a mistake somewhere in the sim too.

ps.: if veeea opens 45% (or more) AJo becomes breakeven (or +ev), 45% seems a **** ton, but who knows.

Re: Lex Veldhuis

I always trash on Lex but i call things like they are, yes he is extremely terrible and has no clue and will lose 10s of thousands but in this particular hand he had to jam that AJ.

1-He was not a lockto cash
2-Veea is a veryvery good player with over 100 bb near the bubble and hs position isnt really relevant,he is opening veryvery wide, and folding to many many rejams
3- 26 bb reshove is plenty of fold equity and it gets thru a high majority of the time

Thanks for the in depth analysis.

Seriously though, unless someone comes up with a robust icmizer sim with wider ranges than normal for OR, I have no idea if his rejam is good or not.

Re: Lex Veldhuis

Well even if it is 1bb ev that shove or higher, this is high variance spot to take in a tourney that is 2/3 times a year and 2 player from itm. It is different if Lex is on the blinds and veeea is otb or co imo.

Would be very nice if some HS reg writes here about that hand for plebs like us
