Does anyone know what kinds of games he plays when he streams? I have completely different hours to the US (living in aus).

Watched a few of his training vids and def one of my fav poker player personalities. Imagine if Daniel Negraneu started twitching...
he plays lots of tournaments from low stakes to 1k buyins. hyper turbo sngs, NL cash + he was playing a little bit of 5 card PLO in some recent streams. you can watch past broadcasts on his twitch channel too

His preflop blinds play leaves a lot to be desired "83s? 3-1? Call!" as if Super Tuesday players regularly check it down when they miss and he's getting great odds to hit a 3. However, the KT hand vs 88 in the milly was very well played, he turned what I would consider a bluff catcher into a rather large shove and got snapped by worse.

I like the stream but the chat is just full of what looks like pre-pubescent droolers.

+1

I'm stuck in the US and working from home so it's been fun watching Jason and a few others stream during downtimes or on the side monitor but Jason's KILLING me with his blind play. Jason if you're reading this, when it comes to pot odds pre....

This guy is fantastic. I never thought I would ever watch a stream of some dude playing online poker but I have been thoroughly entertained for hours. I flipped around and tried some other streams but none of them held my attention like Jason. What a great personality this dude has.

I saw him take some nasty beats and he just kept smiling and talking like nothing even happened....gotta respect that attitude.

The only bad part is all the mouth breathers spamming the chat. There are so many people that half the time it moves so quick I can't even keep up. I've been following the 6max tourney he's playing right now from start to finish. Jason gets really close to the money and then the Twitch stream goes down. Being the guy he is, he decides to do a text play-by-play in the chat window which is awesome because I'm genuinely interested to see how this all ends up. And then it's almost impossible to follow along with anything he's saying because these mouth breathers are spamming nonsense and lines of emoticons.

Other than that...I've been thoroughly entertained.

Streaming the 25-game FTOPS event right now. Probably the most entertained I've been by one of his streams. I think it's fantastic to see some of the games I don't usually play. Although it is a little painful to watch him play these draw lowball games.

Damn this guy is beasting without a HUD. Say whatever you want about his playing style, but hes cashed 4 FTOPS, FT'd the 55 and the Super Tuesday.

And most importantly, this guy is entertaining.

Great job by him and a great signing by Stars.

+1000. He is a fun watch. Popped 5th tonight in the big55. I enjoy listening to him talk through hands. He doesn't hold back any strategy talk. Something a lot of the other streamers don't do.

If there is another poker boom, Jason will be partly (if not largely) responsible. 7-10k people watching his stream at peak traffic. Just crazy. Mad props to Jason. Great ambassador, great human.

I deposited $500 after not playing for a couple years because of him.

I so far have profited 3 xbox games.

You do not need a HUD to play well when you 1 table.

You do need a HUD to play well when you play 12-24 (or more) tables.

Hence why poker sites should cut down the amount of tables one can play at one time. But that will never happen because $$$ and greed.

Also, yes, Somerville (and Twitch) will be the reason for the second poker boom IF USA Regulates and legalizes online poker again.

^That would be pretty awesome. Personally i'd love to see online poker limited to 4 tables and NO HUDS

Just watched that big55 as 1st ever twitch experience and plus 1 he is entertaining

Unusual playing style, no hate cos I didnt watch much but he sure spewed off at the end. Just raise/calling then check folding when he missed a lot? Must work for him somehow though, great results

Yeah, i think its pretty clear by now he never really fights for pots on the flop? I've seen him check raise maybe 0 flops as a bluff. He doesnt seem to float much either? Whih is slightly baffling.

I didn't see the stack size and action of the AJo 2.2 million bustout hand, but seems atrocious from him to call preflop, just on ICM basis.

I think so too. Even though he was going for the win, it was a pretty horrible call. Hes almost always flipping unless villian is shipping A9s, ATs to push for maximum fold equity, but those situations are just too rare to justify the call. Villian almost always has a small pair or AQ and its almost always a flip.

I thought the bust out hand was kind of whatever...... it was the bits where he raised called with A2 and called from the blinds with random trash to go from
2nd in chips ~40bbs to spewing off most of that to the CL without getting to showdown and having ~18bb that baffled me a bit.

Agreed with what's already been said. Love this guy. Highly entertaining and very insightful. I never would have imagined I could be so entertained watching a dude play online poker.

Also agree with the comments regarding his BB defending and check/folding on the flop. He seems to only consider immediate odds when deciding whether or not to defend/call a 3bet out of position. But hey, he's a hell of a lot better than me and he is fantastic for the game. ~22k viewers tonight and many of them are people who have little to no understanding of poker. He takes the time to respond to many comments, even answering a lot of the dumb questions and his attitude is ****ing fantastic. Never once seen this guy complain about a suckout. Poker needs more people with his mentality.

Plus he's a Nick Diaz fan so gotta give him even more props there.
