It just sounds so salty. I barely watch the stream. There is no requirement on twitch that you have to be good. Poker is a brilliant game. If you think he is so bad, take less time beinga dbag and posting nonsense and go get your roi by playing the tournaments he is playing

Because your assessment of his play is incorrect. And you either don't know any better or you are being a dbag. I suspect both.

Those who can, do. Those who can't post.

If you don't think he's very good, fine but the evidence suggests otherwise. He has a 10-year sample size that proves otherwise.

Help us out here. What exactly doesn't he do well? Be specific. Give concrete examples. Break down his play. You're asking if anyone agrees with you, but you're not giving us any evidence other than weak platitudes.

Thinking that Jason is bad at poker is just weird. Also he's been around for ages. He dumbs it down a lot and is looser for the stream, it's much more fun to watch him defend weak hands postflop than if he just said "meh gotta fold" and sat there. He stated a few times that he doesn't want to play higher stakes cash games and too serious stuff on the stream.

Side note, poker is very good at encouraging the line of thinking "I'm awesome and everyone else sucks", I really like that about poker.

Thanks for the thought-free response.

In the times I've watched the stream I've enjoyed it, and often appreciated hearing his thought process behind his valuations of opponent strength and of opponents view of his strength. I believe its helping my game.

Since you feel otherwise, I urge you to stop watching. As for your thread takeover, we all understand now how you feel, and simply re-iterating it again for the umpteenth time will not change anyone's mind in the manner you seem intent on doing.

Yeah, everybody knows you can't be critical of Jason's play in the Official JCarver Love Thread.

I really like the guy. He's incredibly entertaining, has a fantastic attitude, and is a much better hold'em player than I am but he is definitely very passive in a lot of spots.

The worst part about his stream is the chat feed. It's basically unwatchable 80% of the time.

Two months? Clearly, you already know it all as two months has been shown to be about all the time anyone needs to completely understand poker.

My apologies for thinking your criticisms flowed from being a d-bag and not your obvious mastery of the game. Please try to leave some money at the tables for the rest of us after you are done crushing; and, should you run into JCarver I beg you to show him mercy.

Want to post a couple examples, with links to the vods? Just so we can double-check the basic pot odds math.

I'm curious as to how only playing for two months qualifies you to ridicule other players (especially ones who had played professionally, has $6 million in tournament cashes, and a WSOP bracelet).

I'm assuming you're trolling, or just looking for an argument. Right?

Having only played 2 months, how is it you know what play was like 8 years ago?

Having only played 2 months, how is it that you feel any criticisms you have of a professional player (with a winning record over a considerable sample size) is going to be taken seriously?

Lol, you really should stop posting imo

I will say...

Everybody has a style. JCarver does tend to call a lot more than some other players(both preflop and on the river). Even he has addressed that on stream at one point. But you also can't argue his success. I mean, he is +$33,000 on stream in the last 40 days or so.

If Vanessa Selbst had a stream, I'm sure we would be watching her make super uber-aggressive plays, light 3-bets, etc etc. And I'm sure she would be explaining the reasoning behind all of her decisions. .A style that is drastically different than JCarvers. But she would be very likely to be profiting as well.

So if you think that JCarver talking about the pot odds preflop, and calling in spots that may appear to be marginal, and that he plays hands differently than you (or other pros) would play them, then that is fine.

However, you can't really talk about him being a bad player, because his results sort of speak for themself. If anyone else has over $6 million in tournament cashes and has made +$33k in the last 40 days, then I'm sure they could critique JCarver all they want
