So he put out a vlog where he explains "his failure". Comes down to illness and smoking. Poor Matt, being at 15% allready but probably will loose 25k.

He also stated that he will still try to reach the 10%.. hope he doesn't push too hard and die. The bet was unhealthy with the initial 12 months, let alone the 5 months that he has now...

https://youtu.be/OHsC2xRc6vA YT video on the prop bet and his failure up to this point. Should be interesting moving forward to see how everything plays out. Also as stated above the brother is basically getting complete screwed over at this point. I hope they either buy out while they still can or Jaime sends the little brother his $25k back, although that still does not make up for the equity of his potential $75k payday.

WTF? The brother knew what he was getting into. And he knows his brother best and probably knew that there is a good chance that it would not work out. He would've taken all of the 75k so now he should take all of the losses.

sad to see that, anybody who thinks jaime should give matt 25k should seek mental help

I suppose, but I do feel bad for the kid for putting in the effort and getting nothing in return, also considering $25k is probably at least 25% of his entire net worth. They both should of smartened TF up though within the first 6 months and bought out before this point.... oh well will be interesting to see how its plays out going forward. Also should have props on Jaime's weight in the future, will be surprised to see him keep it sub 200lbs shortly after this prop ends.

feel bad for matt lol, he got gifted a life of success off his brothers name and fame, without jaime matt would of been nothing on twitch. its also matts gamble he took to try to win and his responsibility to keep jaime in line. i bet you matt didnt once tell jaime to stop smoking or go workout

That makes him a hardworker and deserves his sponsorship. He travels and plays events, friendly to everybody and represents well.

Sprag rolls outta bed and streams, as does many other streamers who didnt get it, who are deserving
I watched his last video and looks like he’s working his ass back on

He for sure put minimal efforts into this prop compared to the last, I think alot of people knew though that one year was never going to break lifetime of bad habits though.

Jimmy streamed live today 11/18 on twitch, I questioned him about the prop and updates and basically he just mentioned the vlog from over 2 weeks ago now... He basically admitted he doesn't know if it is even possible at this point but is "putting in as much effort as he can" which seems like complete bs but whatever.

^He's convinced the "macros" are decent on those. To an extent he's right, but he has no clue how those restaurants are cooking those/what meat they are using. Probably lathered in butter etc. that destroys any "decent" macros on those. Pretty clear he's not going to reach the bet anyway so probably gave up.

Ya pretty safe to say he has thrown in the towel just without publicly admitting it, I think he is just focusing more on not gaining back all the weight currently to look like a complete and udder ass to his "fans & audience" that he has been such a "inspiration" for.....

I wouldn't be surprised if they've actually bought out already. There was just no way this was going to ever be successful. There is no routine and no consistency. For something this intense, you can't move three times and constantly go on trips. He only streams a couple days a week if that so, there is no excuse not to be spending all day in the gym. Casually walking in a jacket and jeans is not cardio. He could have easily stayed in Canada, set up a routine and maybe even get a home gym/stream set up like Bajheera. Which is a great example of someone who trains multiple times a day and streams it, as well as streams games.

I've been following along with the journey for a years, but as a "fan", I'm tired of being let down. There have only been 9 streams this month and were only 5 in October. Successful streamers, stream 5-7 days a week, not 5 days a month. I honestly, want to see him be successful, but I'm concerned about the long term, and short term viability of being a streamer and sponsored poker player.

He said recently, in his last stream on twitch I believe that he considering buying out however the amount of side action at play with other people betting amounts for/against has prohibited a actually buy out from happening and probably will remain that way regardless at this point. I guess Perkins has a lot of side action himself on this, much more then he would win from the prop itself.

I don't watch his stream, but I'm guessing it's not financially viable for him to stream anymore. He's losing money at the tables, not making much in subs/ad revenue, most people have latched onto the fact he's a losing player so they're not buying shares of him at a markup. There are also bigger and better streamers who he can't compete with. Stars may have also slashed his sponsorship, you never know.

Maybe he's just bored of it all as well. The novelty has worn off. Given all these reasons, I wouldn't be surprised if he quits streaming in the next 1-2 years and moves onto something else in life.

Married soon? To who? It amazes me that men still get married in this day and age, given all we know about female hypergamy, Briffault's Law and divorce laws completely favoring women.

Where did I say twitch was full of winning players? I didn't. Stop twisting my words. I'm well aware that it's full of losing players. Lex, the two Staples brothers, tonka etc. these guys all lose money at poker.

Bigger and better meaning more entertaining for the average twitch viewer, as shown by the number of viewers they get (although there's clearly question marks over whether some streamers use bots to artificially raise their viewer count. I believe there was one big time streamer caught doing this?).

Ya I am kind of surprised he is planning on already getting married tbh. He has admitted on stream that this is his FIRST girlfriend, also mentioned they have only been together about 18 months now. Call me old fashion but I personally think that is WAY to soon and he is still fairly young. I am pretty sure she was also a "fan" of his twitch streams previous to them meeting, seems like a recipe for disaster in my eyes, but best of luck to the guy. I am almost made a similar mistake when I was 19, Soooooo incredibility grateful now that never happened.
