I am a big Jaime fan and im surprised at how calm he is, during bad times he had over the 2 yrs i been watching. Has he EVER gotten angry? Seriously i dont think i ever heard him swear or yell at someone before. HE NEVER BLOWSUP

you are acting like stars is like"Jaime go promote powerups!!!" Anyone who is signed on stars is probably contractly supposed to play some of them and talk good about them to bring people to the game format to make it grow. Singling Jaime out is just unfair. You are judging and saying hes paid ONLY for that.
What about all the free streams he's done? what about all his kindness he shows everybody everyday? or him bringing in new players?
-He gets paid a salary to just be good for the company but of course a clown like you will focus on the negative parts on the company and try to get mad at Jaime about it.

99% of the people buying Jimmys action know that there are better people to back on Stake Kings. They do it for the fun sweat on stream, not to make the big bucks.

Nowadays that's true but back in the day it wasn't . He went on a 60-70k upswing and once things started going south he blocked his stats and made no mention of this downswing which is kinda misleading imo .

claiming to be a ''professional poker player'' implies he makes living from poker when in reality he makes a living off twitch + stars sponsorship + stakekings.

It's fine if people wanna invest in him w/ a negative expectation but it would have been nice if he was honest/open about it .

I'm not a hater but I do have a biased view against anyone who's sponsored by stars , their employer comes first and their fans/viewers come second .

Claiming to be a professional poker player while promoting formats not even top regs can make a living at is extremely deceitful .

I'm glad to see him losing weight and outside of poker he seems like a cool guy but I can't say i respect the fact he's sponsored by stars when he could have made it on his own by studying/grinding hard , instead he became complacent .

Professional Poker Player implies he plays Poker for a living. He wouldn't get sponsored by Stars or have SK or Twitch income if he didn't so I'm not sure what else he's supposed to say his profession is?

Jamie IS a professional poker player.

I dont think Jamie set out to deceive anyone, his upswing caused him to overestimate
his real abilities. When he went on that big downer it probably seemed to him like he was just super unlucky when in reality it was more a true reflection of his real abilities.

He did eventually realize it and has spent more time studying and trying to improve his game. And when I say game , I mean his ENTIRE LIFE game.

I suspect that the majority of guys that give sponsored by Pokerstars guys grief would be more than happy to take that money if they could get it, but they cant.

Kind of like the guys who cant get a date with the pretty girl so they call them whores or sluts.....sound familiar?

Currently watching Jamie play the $55 PSKO. At the moment he earned $352 in bounties, but the bounty on him is $188. How is that even possible when 50% of the bounty when you knock someone out is credited to your account and the other 50% goes onto your bounty?

So if he currently made $352 in bounties, shouldn't the bounty on his head also be 352$ (+ the initial $25 bounty) for a total of $377? I am confused, am I missing something?

PS only shows what you are going to win in cash when you knock a player out above their heads now, not the total bounty.

I busted Jimmy Stapler(sick brag) in the $11 Winter Series #10 yesterday. I immediately went over to his Twitch to say hello and rub it in but he wasn't streaming. He was hosting another guy.

So I'm thinking WTF!? Why isn't he streaming? This is a Pokerstars major online event...he is playing but not streaming? If I were Amaya I would be annoyed that a sponsored pro is playing but not streaming, considering the reason he is sponsored is 100% because of Twitch.

Was he too embarrassed to be seen streaming a low-limit MTT?

No he didn't stream it. As I said, I IMMEDIATELY went to his Twitch page and he wasn't streaming. There is a delay on the stream so I should have been able to watch at least the last 5 minutes of his stream even if he quit right after he busted.

Also, the $11 MTT is not the 'major event'. The major event is the Winter Series, where there are micro, low, medium and high stakes tournaments for each event. He was playing during the Winter Series obviously, because I saw him playing at my table...so he WAS playing during a major event.

It was not a major event. It was a minor event that was part of a major series. Big difference
