Good one, I find it creepy as well. Yes you are a big beautiful man Jamie, but I can enjoy you fine from a distance.

I also get turned off by the constant "home alone" ,"omg" faces. THis causes me to snap shut off the stream.

I figured that he started doing that more as people seem to like the over dramatic facial reaction type videos that are so popular on youtube. I noticed that he used that "OMG" face on thumbnails alot starting last year and that seems to have really carried over to his live performances much more.

Just random observations from a fan, even when I shut you off I often come back within half an hour to see how deep you run.

Right now, Jamie just has AA on all his tables simultaneously. He won all the hands except the biggest buy-in (215) where he get all-in on the flop against top two pair, and lost most of his stack.

Then he decided to focus on trolls in chat, and did this crazy zoom-in into his red face. It's just weird.

So the 'Stream Boat' is a thing. Perkins, Gross & the Staples brothers. Looks like Kevin has turned it down.

On the back of Jaime playing that video on his stream the chat became full of questions about Kevin's absence.

Jaime not only refused to answer them but didn't even acknowledge reading them.

This led chat to become full of KMart emojis. Jaime still completely blanked it.

As hilarious as it was petty. Guess they've fallen out again since Kevin had enough of living with the odd couple.

Today, in the Sunday million at Stars, Jamie shoved QJo UTG and ran into AQo. People berated him in chat, even though it was a perfectly good shove with only 5 big blinds.

But I don't think most people that were upset with the outcome were being mean. They just didn't want him to bust, because they were enjoying the stream.

Earlier in chat, people were telling him to stop doing the creepy close-ups. They were telling him to stop with the badmouthing of other poker players.

I don't think Jamie can tell the different between the trolls, people who are hoping he keeps streaming, and those giving him genuine helpful advice.

I think people were more upset of him folding down to 5.5bb than the shove itself. But, he did earn an extra $100 by folding.

You might be right.

Today Jamie is playing 50NL zoom. He called a 3bet and then a 4-bet and then got his nines in against aces. After the Villain shoved the flop, and Jamie called, they ran it twice and Jamie hit a straight and rivered a set on the two boards to crack the guys aces and double his stack up to 100 dollars. Then Jamie got busy insulting his audience who claimed he doesn't play well.

Then he raised AK, got an ace high flop, bet and was called. Then Jamie checked the turn, and folded the river on a safe run-out.

He ran like God in his 45 minutes one-tabling session, getting aces over and over again, flopping straights, hitting sets, and only lost 25 dollars.

Then he spent some more time whining about his audience, and the chat.

As I said I'm sure Jamie agrees with you.

Everyone who wants him to win at poker, run a professional stream, and act like an adult is a hater.

Everyone who wants him to stay in his mediocrity is a good person.

Pokerstars has demonstrated thry don't want professionals anymore so ehy would they invest all there marbels on twitch streamers who are. Staples is an amateur losing player who needs to run like god to break even. He is acting weird to pretend how much fun ps is and attract dummies who yhink they can play like him and win then the ps bots or casino formats will devour their money.

He was running like god today.

Today Jamie, at a final table doubled up with, AsQd against AdQs (a 135-1 shot).

Then he folded AQo to an overshove. AQo is ahead of a top 10% range. Then he shoved A4o over a raise against someone who'd repeatedly given him a walk in the blinds. A4o is behind a top 50% range. His A4o hand was his last hand in the tournie where he came in 3rd.

He's still doing the creepy zoom-ins where you can only see one of his eyes.

People are still trolling his chat: Pokerstaples so if i river a draw i shudnt semi bluff????

click in on his stream and within 5min he does the weird creepy zoom in on his face, so is this his new thing? Jaime easily has to be in the top 10%percentile of people on the internet to hate on, troll & cyber bully and 90% of it he brings it on himself lol some of it might just be people completely mind blowin at how he can be making +$10,000/month playing poker/streaming i don't really know but does he not have 1 person who he'll listen to that isn't a yes man that has told him stop with the creepy weird face zoom ins ffs

3 crucial hands made all the difference.

After a river jack the board read JJTxx, Jamie had 10/9. Jamie announced he had the nuts, the other guy made a large bet, without putting him all in, Jamie installed with second pair and lost to a full house.

A couple hands later Jamie tripled up with QQ.

A few hands later Jamie had the boat on a JJxxx board after a river jack, and the Villain from the first hand triple barreled (but shoved the river this time) with 42 (no hand no draw) and gave Jamie an overwhelming chip lead.

A few hands later Jamie took down first place.

Oddly enough Jamie's brother is able to stream without doing weird close-ups of one eye, or endlessly whining about chat. Matt is a natural friendly easygoing person -- everything Jamie refuses to be.

Let's assume that a one-second look at Jamie is accurate and that self-control is not his strength. Why doesn't he just mute the people he doesn't like, and let his moderators worry about the rest?

Sucked out on and verbally abused!

Jaime then ended the stream with nothing but an extreme close-up and mournful background music. Was pretty funny tbf.

He also won the $44 PSKO Deep for ~$1600 earlier today.

Jamie just got knocked out in the Bounty Builder 22.

He was all-in pre-flop with KK, against 99 and AK, ace on the flop and that's all she wrote.

Then he just froze on the screen for a long time, and then zoomed in for a super-creepy close-up.

What message is he trying to send? Is he trying to get sympathy for all the hard work he went through to be dealt kings? You're going to lose 46% of the time with kings in that spot. I'm not thrilled to lose with kings when an ace flops but it's hardly unusual.

Earlier in the game he made an extremely small bluff with queen high and got called down by bottom pair and then went on and on insulting the player for his call.

The board read KJ7K8 (or something like that) and Jamie had QT.

Jamie wasn't doing anything to engage with his audience who were busy fighting about politics in the chat.

Politics chat sounds interesting. I personally can't stand it when the chat is full of arse-licking subs/mods and fake "positivity".

you seem to have a rather unhealthy obsession with Jaime Staples right now.... Are you okay??

Also, i don't think there is a message for the face zoom except it's meant for a bit of light humor

Anyway, I think you should stop watching Jaime if it is tilting you this much.

It's funny how a lot of his viewers fall into flat out stalker haters and "your sh*t tastes better than mine mr Jaime" bum suckers. I think there's a weekly post on reddit about him with some seriously obsessive information about him. Sad. And it's quite clear his audience is quite young players who see him as big bro who can not do wrong (not a fat joke). Happened to catch a bit of the stream yesterday when he FT'd an 11 dollar rebuy and some of the chat was cringeworthy. One guy kept saying "great call (insert tonnes of Staples emoticons)" when calling a 2.1 raise from the blinds or a standard peel with middle pair.

His stream has improved a lot though, so fair deuce to him.

Earlier I suggested that Jamie use the ignore button in Twitch.

But he's obsessed with engaging and giving attention to those who don't like him.

In other words he's similar to those here.

OTOH I use the ignore button frequently.

>> Why doesn't he just mute the people he doesn't like, and let his moderators worry about the rest?

But people are obsessed with those who disagree.
