Re: Jaime Staples

Well, it's been pretty quiet here for a while... Possibly because he hasn't been streaming a whole lot recently. I think it's about 2 weeks out til the bet finishes and Jaime is looking amazing. The two guys have done a great job so far. Gotta admire the discipline. Now that they're approaching the finish line I'm only starting to realise how tough this bet is. They have to be one pound apart at the specified time.. Only have one shot to weigh in at that weight.. Seems really difficult to nail that. Hopefully they manage to do it and I really hope Jaime sticks with his new healthy lifestyle. I can only imagine how much better hi life is these days.. GL GL GL!

What about all the free streams he's done? what about all his kindness he shows everybody everyday? or him bringing in new players?
-He gets paid a salary to just be good for the company but of course a clown like you will focus on the negative parts on the company and try to get mad at Jaime about it.

ITs ok to say something or disagree but people like you just like to speak hate. The guy had so much success and better'd his life more than anybody could imagine. You are a jealous hater

Jaime stated numerous times when he sells its for the experience and for fun, people know that going in. My lord you are so slow
Have you actually seen this sharkscope graph? Or any graph of his results for that matter?

Translation: he's a big loser at poker, but revenue from his YT channel, twitch stream and pstars sponsorship means he has a nice income which more than covers his huge poker losses.

Looks like the number of hate posts in this thread over the last few months has dropped almost as fast as Jaimes body fat.

GL Staples brothers for walking over the finish line tomorrow.

Probably because people made their logical, common sense points repeatedly and the Staples fan boys wouldn't listen, just crying "hater" with no substance to their arguments.

I wonder if Staples ever turned his results around or if he's still a losing player. I guess we will never know because he goes to great lengths to hide his results.

So concerning Ultimate Sweat 2.0 (Both brothers down to 9.9% body fat or lower), to be honest, I can't believe Matt agreed to this. I get that he wants to support his brother, but as Jaime is starting at 35%, this seems like $25k down the drain.

(I really hope they do pull it off, just seems highly improbable to me.)

They got ridic good odds on 1st bet
and ridic bad odds on 2nd one

I would love to see Jamie win again, if for no other reason than to
see him ripped and his haters swoon from the sight.

My prediction is he will buy out early or pay a percentage of
Matts loss if he cant hold his own and Matt gets shredded.

I can't remember any example of where it has been done. It wouldn't even be good for Jaime as human skin at his age is still very adaptive, but he'll need surgery that wouldn't have been needed if he gave himself more time to achieve his goal. And the result without surgery will look better.

Given his size and weight, loose skin is unavoidable no matter how quickly or slowly he lost the weight...

I agree with you but ya gotta give action to get action. Even if they don't win the journey is good for them. They're both A+ on self-discipline.

I think Jaime and Matt are both doing great these days. Both of them have vastly improved their poker games, their mental games, and their streaming games.

Lol come off it. They were for $150k yeah.

This is not me knocking Jaime either as I have none either but before the bet he always had very little willpower when it came to his diet and other stuff like quitting smoking.

I can't see how this bet is still going or was Jaime's plan all along to eat what he wants for six months then go at it hard for the other six? Seems impossible to achieve the target given where he's at.

Here's a hint for you. Anyone who has nothing more to say than yeah, and LOL, should remain quiet and keep people in doubt.

Jaime clearly faces some strong addictions, and yet he's able overcome them. I think most intelligent people recognize that as massive self-discipline. On the other hand you seem to think that if he didn't have the addictions that would prove discipline. That's ODD ODD ODD, really really ODD.

In your book I suppose the person who hates to eat, and is emaciated is the self disciplined one.

Re: Jaime Staples

I watched Jaime yesterday for the first time in months and thought it was excellent - very entertaining steam, no toxic trolls in the chat, whether that is partly down to good modding who knows but the odd time a less than complimentary comment slipped through Jaime would laugh it up and make fun of himself... that's how it's done. What was it Ricky Gervais said? - "If you can laugh in the face of adversity, you’re bullet-proof." Jaime clearly figured out that the trolls feed off the negative emotion. Well done to him. He seems in a much better place mentally.

For $150k. He was never able to address these addictions for years prior. Perfect description for someone with "A+ self discipline" clearly I have no idea wtf you're talking about in the rest of the post.

Again, this is not knocking Jaime, I have addictions myself that I have failed to deal with but your comment was just nonsense and not true at all. I would consider myself pretty far down on the scale of self discipline but offer me any sort of money incentive and I'm getting that sh*t done.

I think this also is mostly because he has not been streaming consistently so he has much less viewers than he would normally. I think he also last streamed Sunday night so lots of "MTT Pros" were also streaming then such as Lex and Tonka etc. So lots of the trolls go to the bigger channels. I also think Jaime is LEAPS more humble then he use to be, no longer thinking he is the best MTT pro or poker player period, I think he kind of figured out his place in poker and now is making the best of that opportunity.

Cant forget forget to mention that after winning he went and spent $500+ of that score on a piece of art that many of people described as anal beads into anus.... very interesting choice of celebrating but to each his own right?
