My name is Will and i have been playing poker for 8 years on and off. Like everybody when i first started i was not a good player!! But with time we all get better! When first at university I would deposit $12 at a time and one table the 180 man SNG's, having no idea what volume was need to beat the variance in these! Anyway I managed to get a decent cash every few months and was happy to withdraw being a poor student.
Finally in the 3rd year of uni i started playing the then $2.20 180 manners and realized that if i multi-tabled these i and put the volume in you could beat these games..2 months later i quit my part time job at dominos and grinded away a tidy profit, enabling me feed my alchoal habit!
After uni i traveled the world for a while and stopped playing online probably, once again depositing $50 here and there looking for the big score. But now i feel its the right time to grind these games again as im moving to Aus next year with my girl i met over there (she for some reason is moved to sunny England for me from Sydney!!). However i need $5k for the visa and poker is going to provide that for me.
I deposited $400 last week and have been grinding the $2.50 180 manners, $3.50 45 manner and the $5 90 man super knock out (love these!!) and the bankroll has moved on to just over $1k.
Inspired by Chillin_dude's epic turbo grind I have set specific goal bankroll management plans: -
STAGE 1
$400-$1000
2.50 180 manners
3.50 45 manners
5.00 90 man knock out
1.65 sun million sats (really soft fields)
STAGE COMPLETE
STAGE 2
$1000-$2000
2.50 180 manners
8.00 180 manners
3.50 45 manners
7.00 45 manners
5.00 90 man knock out
11.00 90 man knock out
1.65 sun million sats (really soft fields)
8.80 mtts or less.
If bankroll moves below 650, back to stage 1.
STAGE 3
$2000-$5000
all above adding $3r, $15 180 's and $15 45 mans.
Also MTTS up tp $20.
Hoping to hit $5k by September 31St and then kick on from there.
