I know Doug's the best and all but FFS he ran like Usain to win that. I was hoping to see some amazing unorthodox plays to win that kind of money... but no, he just won every flip and put on some bad beats all-in to take it down.
I can't say there were more than three spots on that final table where I would have done something differently ... it was all super standard... I guess tourneys really are just luck-boxing.
I won't be a big hater ... He did make some nice moves on the other tourney. I can't say I would ever have the nuts to jam 5x the pot with ace high bluffing the straight or flush with the bare ace of clubs. That was nuts... and a great play. Just didn't see anything remarkable on the $271k final table win.
