Doug Polk starting to stream - Page 5 - YouTube Podcasts & Twitch Streams -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback! Really helps me improve and try to make my stream better.

I know the music is a problem, but when I was playing so many hours every day during SCOOP I just did not have the time to try to fix it. At some point down the road I will fix this and we wont have the same issues.

In 2 days I am playing the Super High Roller Bowl at Aria, so wont be doing any streaming this week. I would expect to see me back in some capacity next week. (Probably doing a mix of streaming CS:GO and American poker sites.) So it shouldn't be too long of a break before you get some more streams.

The Mercier thing I really dont understand, we have a youtube video on the Upswing youtube channel where I explain my thoughts, but you guys seem to have gotten the jist of things in the thread anyway.

Thanks again for all the kind words. I have been loving streaming, I will certainly doing more of it.

I think in the fall I am going to do some kind of challenge. Something like $100-->100k, or see what I can do with $100 in 100 days, not sure yet. But I would love to do a challenge type format and see how much money I could run up a small amount into.

Glad you are looking into the music/audio thing. As I mentioned there are a number of us who can't watch live like ever (due to work/school and time zone difference) so it'll really help.

It seems like some of the older videos from past broadcasts are disappearing. Is there a way you can archive these somewhere? Maybe put them on a youtube channel? Love the content.

For me Doug's stream is the absolute nuts, def already one of the best poker streamers on twitch, if not THE best. He answers questions on a regular, is a great troll, very cool and chill imo, seems like a really decent guy and is absolutely hilarious and entertaining. Def check it out if u have not yet.

As for the challenge u think of Doug (if u read this) I would do like 1k - open end i.e. see where you can take it rather than have a designated end goal. (just my two cents)

Hey guys, I am back at it streaming today at 3 pm pst. I will be streaming today and tomorrow, and then taking Tuesday off for the 10k HU. Once that event is finished, I am going to be streaming for around a week straight every day at 3 pm pst.

The fact that Mercier got so hostile and defensive, "throwing his toys out the pram" so to speak, says all you need to know. If he was confident that he was a good player, he would just brush off Doug's bad reg tag as a bit of playful banter and move on. Instead, he made a huge deal of it, starting a Twitter feud, getting his "friends" involved. So ****ing sad.

Mercier knows deep down that he's a bad player - he has to sell action at markup and have Pokerstars sponsorship in order to stay in the game. Doug stays in the game through his own poker skill.

Has the audio situation on the VoDs improved? I would like to subscribe to watch all of your VoDs but only if most of the sound is not muted.

A new playlist of Twitch approved music was instated this week and the vods so far have been pristine. Should be all clear going forward.

Wanted to give the thread some notice, starting Sunday at 6 PM PST, I will be beginning my challenge to go from $100 to $10,000. I will be updating my thread in Poker Goals and Challenges if anyone wants to stop by and check it out.

Other then that, I will be on twitch Sunday-Thursday every day. We will also have a page for updates with graphs and sessions on Upswing Poker. I am pumped up to be back on the regular twitch grind and hope to see everyone there on Sunday!

I use the Razer Chroma headphones, but I can't say they are better or worse then anything else out there. Also glad you enjoyed the session!
