another glaring weakness is that it sucks against non aggro decks

Feral Spirit x 2
Lava Burst
Flamewreathed Faceless x 2

68% WR with this deck over 50 games up to rank 2 now. Bends aggro shaman over pretty hard. About even with PW, everything else pretty much melts.

I'm calling it hybrid shaman

Wild is too much fun. I love the old egg druid. Just lost to a Reno priest running Prince Malch. Still managed to have mass dispel on 4 vs 2 eggs and a creeper. Got a massive soul of the forest off but they thoughtstole a mark of the wild for their 4/12 twilight Drake into shadow word horror into Reno into dragon fire potion. There are some real thinkers on them there wild ladder.

i came up against a similar deck a lot while climbing. I think I went like 2-9 vs reno mage. it's very good against shaman and warrior.

unfortunately right now ladder is all control for some reason.

Try egg drood. It poops on Reno decks.

Now that im finally legend that's the first deck i wanted to mess around with. My shaman did not do well against those and they were everywhere because egg drood is on the top of the wild hearthstone reddit right now

I was seriously close to teching in a lightning storm

I should really give wild a shot. That hunter deck looks great and I'm really itching to play some midrange.

Wild in 2017: Literally Every Opponent is Reno Dragon Priest

Okay not literally but I've played 8 wild games so far today and 7 were against Reno dragon priest and I'm not kidding at all

16 game winstreak so far, but rank 24 to rank 14 isnt that big of an achievement ofc. Everyone playing terrible decks badly. But the decklists i made felt solid atleast. The priest has been crushing, despite being built as a complete joke.

Started playing some wild. I don't think I've seen a repeat deck yet from 25 - 16. This format is growing on me.

It gets worse the higher you go. Still fun though

Not a problem. I play bad with bad decks so I don't go higher.

Have any of my wildbr0s ever crafted an epic and/or legendary from a set that is either gone or soon going to wild only? I've been tempted recently, but I have a feeling I'll regret wasting the dust once I do it. I played against what looked like an awesomely fun shaman murloc deck last night which combined cards from MSOG with other "obsolete" (from a Standard standpoint) cards like Siltfin Spiritwalker and Neptulon (GVG) and Old Murk Eye (special). Would you ever craft a card like Neptulon knowing it could never be used anywhere but Wild?

Some of the decks I've seen look like the guy just randomly clicked buttons and they sometimes work, like basically you can play N'Zoth with a bunch of random deathrattle cards and they'd be competitive regardless of whatever else you included. A lot of people just concede once Nzoth appears, if you didn't die before turn 10.

Why not? If you want to play wild, play wild. Nobody says you have to be a standard only player. Nobody says you always have to play tier 1 competitive decks either.

I mean, I get that, but on the other hand it seems kinda foolish wasting dust on non standard cards, kind of, when dust is so hard to come by as a F2Per

I probably will drink bourbon at some point and do it anyway though

spend dust/money on what you enjoy man. if you enjoy wild then yea it's worth it.

I don't think it'll ever be as popular a format as standard or will be really mainstream but oh well. the community is pretty cool. There are a few wild-only streamers now that are getting big. who knows.

Once Reno hits wild it will take a bigger jump I bet.

Yea, maybe. The wild set and standard set only differ by 100 something cards so wild is kind of casual mode right now
