Well that's a big reason to play C'Thun. Don't really love seeing super strong cards that are just dumb piles of stats tho

4/10 for 4 mana? That's a good late game play. Yeti on curve, Ancient of War on turn 5+? seems too good?

Im shocked everyone here thinks its good. it's a yeti. it will be a 4/10 like 10% of the time. yetis may be stronger without shredder, but its not like the best in slot for them on 4 anyway. a cheap 4/10 in the super late game is nice but its not like that big of a game changer either.

its a totally mediocre card that would shock me if it finds play in constructed.

if you could leak the rest of the set that would be awesome

I'm calling it right now that that card is 4/10 at least 40% of the time it's played.

It's a Yeti with a huge upside. The upside comes with some conditions but the whole deck is going to be built around fulfilling that condition. If you're losing on tempo and have to play it before you've sufficiently buffed C'thun, it's still a 4/5 for 4.

It's not going to feel bad the way Blackwing Corruptor does if you have to play it with no Dragon in you hand.

Unless im misreading it, you have to play cthun first to make it a 4/10?

That's probably something that needs clarifying. It doesn't have the (wherever it is) text but I just kind of assumed that it worked that way. If C'thun has to be on board, it's much less interesting.

Still better than tempo MC Tech though.

Based on the buff minions working regardless of where he is (deck, hand), I'm assuming this one also doesn't care where he is.

I actually was confused and thought you only had to play one of those 2/3 guys to get the buff on the Druid card to work. I'm just going to assume for now that it's really hard to get this guy to work on turn 4. It seems like all these C'Thun cards are .25-.5 mana losses on curve but give your deck massive amounts of value in long games.

yeah your cthun doesnt need to be in play or in hand to get the 4/10

Obviously there's tons of cards yet to be revealed, but so far the C'Thun deck would get absolutely demolished by any midrange deck currently being played.

Every time you play a card that buffs C'thun, he peeks out of a portal and it shows his stats to you and your opponent. I think it's safe to assume that the Klaxxi gets buffed regardless of whether you've played C'thun yet, as long as his attack is at 10 or more.

I'm just saying it needs a lot more help, and we've probably already seen the best reason to play a C'Thun deck.

I'll be surprised if C'thun is present in a lot of competitive decks, but that's just based on the fact that he's:

a) kinda gimmicky
b) being given away for free

Just feels like the type of card that draws in new players cause it's fun and does cool things, even if it's not really that strong. And I'm sure Blizz wants people doing more than just building C'thun decks. But who knows, Blizz probably thought Anyfin was gimmicky.
