the problem with inspire is that there's so much easy removal. Effects that last beyond death are really the only valuable ones - hence why justicar is good and everything else is trash and why deathrattle is OP. Joust was interesting but too RNGish to actually play around.

Emeriss was such a nightmare (no pun intended). People would troll you with those mushrooms. It was hard enough without saboteurs, but that probably added to the fun.

I'm not sure exactly why, but every world boss after Vanilla didn't have the same charm. Maybe that they were just pinatas farmed weekly? I recall Ysondre being easy and Taerar being ok, but Lethon and Emeriss were extremely difficult.

I don't have many better memories of WoW than randomly strolling along the high road in Feralas and seeing that one of the dragons were up.

Interestingly this is a uniquely Ahn'Qiraj minion, so we can safely say a majority of Ahn'Qiraj will be used in this expansion

Looks like they wanted to make him an epic. If you give the card a unique name it has to be a legendary.

they use art for different stuff with other names all the time.

Like malygos is actually the art of kalecgos, mal'ganis is actually the art of the green dreadlord varismatraz, etc

I think Bad Hogger is the first Wild viable card, not counting C'Thun.

One trigger and you profit, two triggers and you're gaining a big edge.

Turn 7 Bad Hogger into destroying a Death's Bite is a huge power play vs lots of decks.

you can also taskmaster it if desperate against a face shaman or hunter, etc. Some warriors run revenge and stuff too.

I think DoomHogger will see a fair amount of play in warrior. It will possibly enable the use of Inner Rage and Battle Rage in Control. Inner Rage by itself is not strong enough but being able to combo it with minions like DoomHogger, Grom, Acolyte, possibly even raging worgen can pave the way for possibly a more enrage based warrior list.

Obv you don't really want to play it naked against a mage with a big hand but there are some classes that will just get completely ****ed up by a card like that.

I think you can almost kind of think of it as a neutral Highmane. Would a 7 mana neutral highmane see play? Definitely, especially if there isn't anything major to fill the boom vacuum.

Most classes are going to have a lot of difficulty removing it with one card/trade, so it should give you more than 1 gnoll on average.

not sure what to think about it. kezan mystic is gone in standard so this would keep in check decks that run too many secrets... I guess?

or maybe to stop freeze mage from getting out of control if its way overpowered

It's really strong vs Secret Pally. Upside is a lot lower than Kezan vs everything else but it's still good vs any secret class. I guess you can imagine a metagame where you would play it. Remains to be seen how many secrets are going to be played in standard with no Mad Scientist.
