So last night I'm thumbing through my cards and trying to decide what to rid myself of since I'm hella low on dust and want to craft some ****. I ran across the two copies of Blood of the Ancient One and one copy of Y'Shaarj that I got from the initial WOG packs. As I'm just about to dust these seemingly worthless cards I think, why not see if they actually can work *together* in constructed? So instead I theorycrafted a bit and came up with this
The concept is pretty simple: survive long enough to get your two Bloods out and then win the game once The Ancient One arrives on the scene.
It consists of the usual suspects like Fiery Win Axe to deal with small minions, Acolyte and Slam to provide some card draw, Execute and Brawl and Shield Slam for board clear/dealing with troublesome big minions, taunts for extending the game and dealing with faster decks, etc. The two Faceless Manipulators are there in case one of the Bloods is hopelessly stuck at the bottom of the deck, or to just hopefully win the game with on turn 9 by copying the (hopefully) 10-attack Grommash I plopped down on turn 8. I thought about Ysera in there as a possible extra wincon but decided on Varian as he's very helpful in getting the Bloods out and really just seems to have been born for a deck like this, not to mention Y'Shaarj.
I'd appreciate any feedback on this as I'm really excited about it, it's the first deck I've really committed to playing "seriously" that wasn't ripped straight from the net. I'm 9-3 with it so far, though sadly only once was I able to get THE ANCIENT ONE onto the board (he won me the game against a control warrior so that was nice).
